2D Tuesday was a recurring Adopt Me event built around a temporary 2D Kitty and a 2D Box reward. A guide updated January 19, 2026 named Tuesday, January 20 as the next event, but its Pacific time details conflict with one another, and the official January notes do not confirm that date’s schedule. Check the in-game event listing or reminder rather than relying on an exact January 20 start or end time.
What was 2D Tuesday?
2D Tuesday was described as a recurring weekly event in Adopt Me. A January 13 post from verified Uplift Games staff announced three Tuesday time slots so players in different regions could choose one. The post said a player who claimed a box would not see the event again until the following week.
The January 19 guide identified January 20, 2026 as the upcoming event date. That date and its reported schedule come from the guide, not from the official January update notes.
What time was 2D Tuesday on January 20?
The January 19 guide’s schedule table lists 12:00 AM Pacific for January 20, while its accompanying prose says the event ends at 1:00 PM Pacific after one hour. Those details do not align, so the source does not establish a reliable January 20 start and end time. Its regional conversions should likewise be treated as unverified rather than a dependable timetable.

These are the conversions reported in the post, not a confirmation of the January 20 schedule. For an upcoming event, check the event listing and use its Notify Me control on the Adopt Me Roblox listing where available.

How did players earn a 2D Box?
According to the January 19 guide, participants could use a temporary 2D Kitty during the event. It was described as earning double the usual Bucks and XP. Completing 20 pet needs with the temporary pet earned a 2D Box.
The guide said the box could contain a permanent 2D Kitty, but it did not provide confirmed odds or a complete reward list. The official 2D Kitty entry identifies the pet as Legendary and lists its source as the 2D Tuesdays 2025 Box. That verifies the pet’s rarity and provenance; it does not establish the odds or contents of a 2026 box.

What if the 2D Box could not be claimed?
Uplift Games’ January 23, 2026 update notes say a bug that prevented players from claiming the 2D Box after a 2D Tuesday was fixed. The notes do not say which event date was affected or how many players encountered it. If a claim fails, check that the game is updated and consult the current in-game event information; the update note confirms a fix, not that every earlier failed claim was restored.
