EpiXR Games’ descriptions say there are no enemies or other danger, making the game’s stated focus relaxed exploration rather than combat. It is listed for Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S, with Xbox Cloud Gaming also listed.
What you do in Aery – Calm Horizon 2
The official game descriptions frame the experience around flying as a bird, exploring landscapes, and collecting crystals. They describe the levels as generally quick to finish, while leaving room to spend longer looking around. The publisher-provided description says, “Because there are no enemies or any other danger in this game you will be able to lean back and enjoy the scenery and the sensation of flying.” That is the game’s stated design, not an independent assessment of how it feels to play.
So if you are asking, “Can I just fly around and relax, or is there combat?” the official answer is that there is no combat described: the focus is flight, scenery, and crystal collection. The publisher’s description also invites players to “lean back and take a deep breath…” That framing is not evidence of a therapeutic or mental-health benefit.

The storefronts do not show one universal date. Xbox’s US listing gives 2 October 2026; Nintendo’s Portugal page gives 30 September 2026, and its France page gives 1 October 2026. Check the listing for your own region for the date and availability that apply to you.

Controller and title-name caveats
The Nintendo listing for the earlier Aery – Calm Horizon names the Switch Pro Controller, but the exact Calm Horizon 2 listing does not confirm sequel-specific compatibility.
