The same report says its planned production volume is more than 10% above the Exynos 2600’s and that an internal Geekbench 6 test showed a 9.5% multi-core score advantage over Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Samsung has not publicly confirmed those claims in the official material available for this report, and the benchmark has not been independently reproduced.
What the Exynos 2700 report claims
The Elec’s October 2, 2026 report says Samsung Electronics has started full-scale front-end foundry production of the Exynos 2700, a mobile application processor intended for future Galaxy phones. These are industry-source claims reported by The Elec, not specifications or production news confirmed in a Samsung announcement. The Elec report
More than 10% higher planned volume
The reported production volume is more than 10% higher than the Exynos 2600 volume from the prior year. The report does not give a unit count. It attributes the increase to one additional Galaxy S27 model adopting Exynos.
A reported 9.5% Geekbench 6 multi-core advantage
The Elec says an internal Geekbench 6 test gave the Exynos 2700 a 9.5% higher multi-core score than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The often-rounded “10%” figure is not an independently verified result: the report does not publish scores, testing conditions, or public benchmark runs. It also does not establish an advantage in power use, heat, or sustained performance.

Which Galaxy S27 models may use Exynos
According to The Elec, Samsung’s Mobile eXperience division had determined required chipset volumes for the Galaxy S27 base, Plus, and Pro models. The Ultra model’s chipset decision was still open at the time of the report. This describes reported planning, not a confirmed final lineup or a regional chipset list.
What is—and is not—confirmed about the chip
The searched official Samsung material does not confirm Exynos 2700 production, its manufacturing process, specifications, Galaxy S27 chipset distribution, or the reported benchmark. Samsung’s official Exynos 2600 product page describes that predecessor as a 2nm GAA processor with a deca-core CPU and integrated CPU, NPU, and GPU features. Those details apply to Exynos 2600 only; they cannot be assumed for Exynos 2700.

What the benchmark claim can tell buyers
A multi-core result from an internal test is a narrow performance datapoint, not a complete comparison of two phone processors. The available report does not provide the information needed to assess how the chips compare in everyday Galaxy S27 use.
- Reproducibility: Public scores and test conditions are not provided.
- Other CPU workloads: The report gives no single-core comparison.
- Efficiency and sustained speed: Power consumption, thermal behavior, and performance over extended workloads are not established.
- Graphics and device differences: The report does not compare GPU performance or identify retail-device testing conditions.
- Availability by model or region: The final Galaxy S27 chipset mix is not confirmed, and the Ultra decision was reported as pending.
Until Samsung publishes specifications and retail-device results become available, the 9.5% figure should be treated as a reported internal benchmark claim—not proof that an Exynos-powered phone will be faster or more efficient in real-world use.
