Is Afro Samurai 2 available on PS4 now?
The historical launch is confirmed, but the sources cited here do not establish whether the game is currently listed for purchase on PS4 or PC, whether a listing was removed, or what refund terms may have applied. GameSpot’s platform listing includes PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and links to contemporaneous coverage titled “Afro Samurai 2 Removed From Stores, Games Canceled, Refunds Issued”; that reference alone does not verify present-day availability or specific refund details. See its game listing for the platform reference.
What is Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma about?
The sequel shifts the focus from Afro to Kuma, the cybernetically enhanced fighter with a bear’s head who was once Afro’s childhood friend, Jino. After Afro defeats him in the previous game, Kuma sets out to recover his strength, humanity, and sanity, then seek revenge for the loved ones killed in the Sword School massacre, including his adopted younger sister, Otsuru. This story summary comes from the original PlayStation announcement.

How was the game designed?
PlayStation described Volume One as a third-person hack-and-slash action game combining exploration with combat and bloody finishing moves. GameSpot categorized it as a 3D action beat ’em up and listed blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, and strong language. These are descriptions and content tags, not an independent assessment of gameplay quality.
Takashi Okazaki, creator of the original Afro Samurai manga, contributed new manga-drawn scenes. The PlayStation announcement says they appear in formats ranging from small cells and pop-ups to full-screen images. RZA returned as music director, with hip-hop artists working on the soundtrack under his guidance, as described in the PlayStation announcement and a September 1, 2015 REVOLT/Versus Evil announcement.

Was Afro Samurai 2 released in three volumes?
At launch, the publisher’s announcements presented the game as a three-volume release, with separate story arcs, characters, combat styles, and soundtracks. The PlayStation post said Volumes Two and Three would arrive later, and the REVOLT/Versus Evil announcement described the same three-part plan for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. These sources establish the announced plan, but not that every volume ultimately launched.

The original Afro Samurai manga is the clearest related work for readers interested in the source material. It is not the game itself, and a manga listing should not be treated as a game edition or as a verbatim version of the game’s story.
