In the early Sewer Town route, go upstairs to collect three Mud Balls, then jump down and turn left to reach the nearby Void Beast. Defeating that enemy awards one Luminous Carbon. The route is ordinary gameplay documented by a community-verified Sewer Confluence walkthrough, not a hidden code or external unlock.
Mud Ball and Luminous Carbon are in-game items. You do not buy them as separate physical products. Deluxe editions also list bonus Mud Balls, but edition contents and availability depend on platform, region and the version you purchase.

What “cheats” means for Mud Ball and Luminous Carbon
The available item guide does not document a button sequence, save edit, console command or other cheat that creates either item. Its instructions describe the standard Sewer Town route: pick up Mud Balls in the upper section, then defeat the nearby Void Beast for Luminous Carbon. Calling this an “unlock” is accurate; calling it a verified cheat code is not.
That distinction matters because searches for “AI LIMIT cheats” can mix normal pickups, edition bonuses and unverified player claims. The route below is the supported method established by the cited walkthrough. No independent playtest is available to confirm behavior outside the conditions described by that guide, so treat its combat advice as published guidance rather than a guaranteed exploit.
#1 Best Overall
Early Sewer Town route: both items in one pass
The two early objectives are close together and can be completed without purchasing a special edition. Follow the sequence in this order:
- Reach the early Sewer Town portion of the game.
- Go upstairs. The walkthrough places a pickup containing three Mud Balls in this upper area.
- After collecting them, jump back down.
- Turn left from the landing area to find the Void Beast.
- Defeat the Void Beast. The encounter awards one Luminous Carbon.
The guide also advises avoiding the creature’s tail swipe and attacking from behind. That is positioning advice for the encounter, not a special condition for making the item appear.
Why the order matters
The walkthrough presents the upstairs pickup before the jump-down turn. If you pass the enemy first, backtracking to the upper platform may be less clear, especially when the area is crowded or you are learning the route. Collecting the visible items before starting the nearby fight also lets you separate exploration from combat: first secure the Mud Balls, then concentrate on the Void Beast.

How to handle the Void Beast
The only specific tactic attached to this item route is to dodge the Void Beast’s tail swipe and attack from behind. Keep enough distance to recognize the tail movement, evade rather than trading hits, and move to the rear before committing to your attack. The source does not provide frame data, recommended equipment, damage numbers or a guaranteed number of attacks, so those details should not be treated as established requirements.
If the beast defeats you, return to the encounter and repeat the same positioning principle. The Luminous Carbon is tied to the enemy’s defeat in the walkthrough; it is not described as a random drop, a chest item or a reward for performing a particular finisher.
What you should receive
| Objective | Location or trigger | Quantity established by the guide | What is not established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mud Ball | Upstairs in the early Sewer Town route | 3 | The guide does not establish a universal total for every later pickup. |
| Luminous Carbon | Reward for defeating the nearby Void Beast after jumping down and turning left | 1 | No alternate cheat, chest location or drop-rate information is provided. |
Use the pickup notification or your inventory to confirm the items after each objective. If the inventory does not change, make sure you actually collected the upstairs pickup and completed the Void Beast encounter rather than merely passing through the area.

Are there more Mud Balls later?
Yes. The same Sewer Confluence walkthrough lists additional Mud Balls later on the route. It does not establish a complete progression table with every location and quantity, so the early three-item pickup should not be presented as the game’s entire supply. If you are collecting every item, continue exploring beyond the first Sewer Town encounter and follow a current route guide for the later sections.
Because the official game website lists update notices through May 18, 2026, item placement or route behavior can change in a future patch. Version-specific directions should be checked against the latest patch notes if your game no longer matches the sequence above.
Edition bonuses versus normal gameplay
Buying an edition is not required for the Sewer Town unlock. Store listings identify bonus Mud Balls in Digital Deluxe editions, which gives you another way to start with some of the item, but it does not replace the in-game route or provide Luminous Carbon.

| Steam Digital Deluxe Edition | Three Mud Balls and a digital artbook | The cited Steam description does not establish the PlayStation bonus weapon or Pure Crystals for this edition. |

The PlayStation Store lists the PS5 version with a March 27, 2025 release date. Steam lists the PC version as released on March 27, 2025. Current prices, regional stock and promotional terms are not fixed facts, so check the store serving your account before buying. The developer’s confirmation of a PS5 physical edition also does not establish that every region carries the same package.

AI LIMIT is identified by its developer as a post-apocalyptic science-fiction action RPG for PC and PlayStation 5. The item route is described for the game itself, not for a particular storefront build. If you play on PC, verify that your installation has received the current update; on PS5, check the game’s update status before troubleshooting a missing pickup.
Do not use the Digital Deluxe descriptions as proof that every release contains identical extras. The PlayStation listing names four bonus categories, while the Steam listing specifically names three Mud Balls and a digital artbook. That difference is a listing distinction, not evidence that one platform’s normal Sewer Town route is different.

Troubleshooting a missing Mud Ball or Luminous Carbon
The three Mud Balls are not in your inventory
- Return to the upstairs section of early Sewer Town; the documented pickup is above the point where you later jump down.
- Confirm that you interacted with the pickup rather than only walking past it.
- Check whether you already collected the item on an earlier attempt or save.
- If the area still disagrees with the walkthrough, record your platform and game version and consult current patch notes, since the developer continues to publish updates.
Luminous Carbon did not appear after the fight
- Make sure the enemy was the Void Beast reached by jumping down and turning left, not a different encounter.
- Confirm that the fight ended and that the reward or inventory state updated.
- Reloading the latest save and repeating the encounter can distinguish a missed pickup from a one-off display problem, but the cited sources do not document a specific bug fix or recovery command.
You expected a cheat menu or code
No such code is established by the available sources. Avoid downloading purported trainers or save files solely because a search result uses the word “cheat”; they are not part of the documented unlock and can carry platform-security or save-corruption risks.
Practical route decisions
Choose the normal route when you want Luminous Carbon, because the listed Deluxe bonuses contain Mud Balls but do not list that material. Choose a Deluxe edition only if its other extras—such as Pure Crystals, an in-game weapon or a digital artbook on the PlayStation listing—matter to you. If your goal is simply the three early Mud Balls, reaching the upstairs pickup in Sewer Town avoids relying on edition availability.
For a new character, collect the upstairs items before engaging the Void Beast so the two objectives remain easy to verify. For a later playthrough, the same sequence provides a compact checkpoint: upper pickup first, jump down, left turn, then the Void Beast reward.
Bottom line
There is no verified AI LIMIT cheat code for Mud Ball or Luminous Carbon. The documented unlock is straightforward: collect three Mud Balls upstairs in early Sewer Town, jump down and turn left, then defeat the Void Beast for one Luminous Carbon. Deluxe editions may supply three bonus Mud Balls, but they do not replace this route and should not be assumed to include the same contents across PC, PS5 digital and PS5 physical releases.
