Epic Games launched an AI-voiced Darth Vader interaction in Fortnite on May 16, 2025. But launch-day directions are not reliable current directions: the available official information does not confirm that the encounter is still live or identify a current map location. If you’re looking for Vader now, check Fortnite’s current in-game map or an up-to-date Epic announcement before heading to a location reported in 2025.
Is AI Darth Vader still in Fortnite?
That is not confirmed by the available current information. Epic announced the feature on May 16, 2025, but that announcement establishes its launch, not that it remains available in Fortnite in October 2026. The launch-era map locations reported at the time should not be treated as current coordinates.

How to speak with Darth Vader if the encounter is live

In either place, look for Allow voice and written communication with AI Features. Epic describes this as permission to communicate with AI features. GameSpot’s May 16, 2025 launch guide described using the game’s configured chat control to address Vader, but that period-specific instruction may not match current controls or settings.
Why Vader was saying “Skibidi Toilet” and swearing
“Skibidi Toilet” and reports of profanity became part of the character’s launch-era viral coverage. GameSpot reported that Epic issued a hotfix after a profanity-related incident. Those reports describe events around the May 2025 launch; they do not establish what the character says now, or guarantee that a particular phrase can be prompted on demand.

That is not a guarantee that AI-generated character speech can never be inappropriate. Parents should treat the AI communication permission as access control, not as a profanity filter.
What Epic said about the AI voice
Epic’s May 16, 2025 announcement presented the interaction as a collaboration with the family of James Earl Jones. The announcement identified Google’s Gemini 2.0 Flash and ElevenLabs’ Flash v2.5 in describing the launch technology; those model names are launch-era details, not confirmation of the feature’s current implementation.
