AION 2 lists Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), DirectX 12, broadband internet and 100 GB of free storage as requirements. The minimum hardware tier is a Ryzen 5 2600 or Core i5-10500, 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB; the recommended tier raises that to a Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-11700, 16 GB RAM and an RTX 2070 with 8 GB. These are the publisher’s hardware tiers, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate.
AION 2 system requirements
The official AION 2 support FAQ, dated July 21, 2026, and the Steam PC listing publish matching specifications. The FAQ recommends an SSD. For FHD resolution, it associates the minimum tier with the Very Low graphics preset and the recommended tier with Low.

How to check whether your Windows PC meets the requirements
- Check Windows, processor and RAM. Right-click Start and select Settings > System > About. Compare the processor model and installed memory with the table, and confirm that the system type is 64-bit. Microsoft’s Windows device information guide describes the details shown on this page.
- Check free storage on the intended install drive. Open Settings > System > Storage and check that drive for 100 GB available. If your PC has multiple drives, use Advanced storage settings to inspect the others. See Microsoft’s device information guide for Windows storage settings.
- Check the DirectX version. Search for
dxdiagfrom Start, open the tool and find DirectX Version under System Information. AION 2 lists DirectX 12. Microsoft explains DirectX updates in its DirectX installation guide. - Identify the full graphics-card model. Compare the exact GPU name, and its video memory, with the listed card. Use Windows or your PC manufacturer’s specifications to identify it. Do not assume a laptop GPU with a similar name performs like its desktop counterpart: the official requirements do not provide laptop-to-desktop equivalencies.
- Compare the whole PC, not just one part. Check the operating system, CPU, RAM, GPU, DirectX, internet connection and available space against the minimum tier. The recommended tier is a higher published hardware level; meeting it does not establish a specific frame rate.
For more processor detail, Task Manager’s Performance > CPU panel shows cores and logical processors. Those counts alone do not establish performance equivalence between different CPU models; see Microsoft’s processor core-count guide.

How to interpret your results
If your PC meets the recommended tier
Your listed CPU, memory and graphics card meet the publisher’s recommended hardware level, subject to the shared operating-system, DirectX, internet and storage requirements. For FHD, the support FAQ specifies Low as the compatibility preset. It does not publish performance benchmarks for particular configurations.
If your PC meets minimum but not recommended
Your system reaches the published minimum tier, but not the recommended hardware level. For FHD, the FAQ specifies Very Low for minimum-tier compatibility. Neither tier guarantees smooth play or a particular FPS.

If one or more components fall below minimum
The published specifications do not establish whether a PC below any listed minimum component will run the game acceptably. This is especially important when comparing laptop graphics or integrated graphics: the official sources give no equivalency guidance or explicit compatibility judgment for those configurations.

AION 2 lists 100 GB of available storage and marks an SSD as recommended, not mandatory. If the install drive is short on space, check other drives before deciding whether you need additional storage; the published requirement alone does not mean every player needs to buy a new drive.
