What are the websites in The Lake House file?
Community reference material identifies two addresses in an FBC file found in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House: This House of Dreams and Siren Society. Remedy has not provided a direct statement about those website references, so it is useful to separate what the game file reportedly lists from what earlier lore and fan interpretation add.

Why is the FBC monitoring these addresses?
The Lake House is an FBC research station on Cauldron Lake. Remedy describes the expansion as a story about reckless experiments that cause reality to collide with the Dark Place. It follows agent Kiran Estevez and unfolds in parallel with the main game. See Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 FAQ for the expansion context.
The placement of the two names is suggestive: one is associated with an artist in the expansion, while the other recalls an earlier Alan Wake story artifact. An FBC list of monitored sites establishes the agency’s interest in those addresses; by itself, it does not show who owns or operates each one.

This House of Dreams
This House of Dreams is an earlier Alan Wake-related blog associated with Samantha Wells in community reference material. Its appearance in the Lake House file invites a connection to the expansion’s anonymous artist, but the cited material does not establish that Wells and the artist are the same person.
Siren Society
Siren Society is associated with Poe, the musician whose work is part of The Lake House. Its inclusion beside This House of Dreams encourages players to connect Poe’s storyline with older Remedy-universe web artifacts. That juxtaposition is a clue to consider, not proof that Poe created or runs every listed site.

- Reported game reference: Community reference pages identify This House of Dreams and Siren Society among the addresses in an FBC file.
- Earlier lore association: Community material links This House of Dreams to Samantha Wells and Siren Society to Poe.
- Not established: The available sources do not confirm that Samantha Wells is the anonymous musician, that Poe operates both sites, or that the file makes either claim.
The expansion’s timeline offers context, not an identity answer. Remedy Lead Writer Clay Murphy told Xbox Wire: “By the time Saga and Estevez meet, the story of this expansion has already occurred.” That is Murphy describing the timeline in an interview, not a line from the in-game document. You need Alan Wake 2 and access to The Lake House expansion. Remedy’s FAQ says the Expansion Pass is included with the digital and physical Deluxe Editions, and Standard Edition owners can upgrade. It also gives the game’s access instructions: choose The Lake House from the main menu, or use the in-game option when available.

Once you find the file, treat it as a pointer for further investigation rather than a complete explanation. The addresses’ significance comes from how they connect the FBC’s monitoring, Poe’s role, and an older Alan Wake artifact; the cited sources do not verify the sites’ current contents, so compare what you see online with what the game actually establishes.
