Why was Alex’s return notable?
Capcom called Alex the third character in Street Fighter 6 Year 3 and noted that he first appeared as the protagonist of 1997’s Street Fighter III: New Generation. Professional wrestler Kenny Omega performed motion capture for Alex’s signature moves, according to Capcom’s announcement. Xbox Wire’s March 5 Capcom Spotlight recap also reported the March 17 date and Kenny Omega’s motion-capture role.
