The ALGS Year 5 Championship took place in Sapporo, Japan, from January 15–18, 2026. Team Falcons won the 40-team tournament, defeating a field from the Americas, EMEA, APAC North, and APAC South. Who won the ALGS Championship 2026?
Team Falcons finished first with 166 points. UNLIMIT placed second with 158, and Citadel Gaming finished third with 158. ENTER FORCE.36 was fourth on 157 points, followed by SUPERNOVA with 136. Which teams competed?
Forty teams qualified through the ALGS Open, Midseason Playoffs, Pro League, and Last Chance Qualifier. They represented four regions: the Americas, EMEA, APAC North, and APAC South. What else was announced for the Sapporo event?
The official partner announcement named Sony INZONE as monitor and headset partner, Red Bull as ALGS energy partner, Google Play as a championship partner, Razer as chair partner, AndGAMER/Void Gaming as a gaming-device and controller partner, GALLERIA as official PC partner, and the City of Sapporo as host-city partner. The announcement referenced the Sony INZONE M10S monitor, INZONE H9 II headset, INZONE E9 wired in-ear headphones, Razer Iskur V2 NewGen chair, Void Gaming controllers, and GALLERIA PCs; it did not specify a GALLERIA PC model. It described a bespoke tournament-edition headset paired with E9 in-ears, but did not establish that edition’s retail availability. Was attendance higher than 30,000?
The official event guide forecast more than 30,000 fans across the four days before the event. That was a forecast, not a verified final attendance count; the cited sources do not establish an audited final figure. [Official event guide]
