The ten hidden gnomes in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix were scattered across the island, from Weeping Woods and Holly Hedges to the river near Green Steel Bridge. These are directions for the November 2024 Remix season; they do not confirm that the quest is available in the current season.
Where to find all 10 Fortnite Remix gnomes
Use the landmarks below to locate each gnome. The location descriptions follow Shacknews’ November 2, 2024 guide; guide numbering varied, so these are organized by landmark rather than treated as a canonical sequence.
- Weeping Woods: Look for the playground in the center of the hotel. The gnome is on the small wooden platform over the pond.
- South of Steamy Stacks: Check beneath the first blue pylon.
- Southwest of Misty Meadows: Search inside the house overlooking the town.
- North beach: Head to the beach northwest of Steamy Stacks.
- East of Holly Hedges: Look behind a large tree in a small group of trees.
- Weather Station: At the station east of Misty Meadows, find the gnome upside down beside the solar panels.
- Holly Hedges: Enter the gray brick house and check beside the television.
- Waterfall between The Doggpound and Lazy Lake: Search the small ledge beside the river waterfall.
- West side of Craggy Cliffs: In the white building, check inside the shop beside the butcher.
- Between Frenzy Farm and Dirty Docks: Look at the river bend near Green Steel Bridge.
Shacknews notes that the gnome at FN Radio is separate and does not count toward these ten.
How to collect the gnomes
Finding a gnome is not enough: interact with it to register the collection. GameSpot reported that simply seeing or hitting one did not count, and the locations did not appear on the quest screen even when the quest was tracked. Shacknews says an exclamation point appears when you are nearby.

- You do not have to collect all ten in one match; GameSpot reported that progress could span multiple rounds.
How much XP did the gnome quest give?
Contemporary guides agree on 10,000 XP per gnome but report different completion totals. ONE Esports said collecting ten awarded 100,000 XP in total. Beebom reported 10,000 XP per gnome plus a 20,000 XP bonus for finding all ten, for a total of 120,000 XP. No official XP breakdown was established in the cited sources, so neither total should be treated as independently confirmed.

Epic’s November 1, 2024 announcement described Chapter 2 Remix as a return to the Chapter 2 island, with locations and loot changing weekly. The gnome guides were published during that 2024 season. Those historical directions do not establish whether the quest is playable now.
