There are 14 Mementos in 007 First Light. PowerPyx’s May 26, 2026 third-party walkthrough counts them among 92 total collectibles and maps each one to a chapter checkpoint. None is permanently missable: after finishing the story, use Chapter Select, collect the item, and the pickup saves immediately. This guide follows those checkpoint names and landmarks, while flagging the few finds that require a key, a distraction, story progress, or a particular gadget.
If you are asking “Are any 007 First Light collectibles missable?” the practical answer is no. You can enjoy the campaign first, then make focused cleanup runs instead of replaying every mission from the beginning. Keep the Touchpad tracker open, note which Memento count is missing, and use the route below to load the right checkpoint.

How many collectibles are in 007 First Light?
PowerPyx’s May 26, 2026 guide reports 92 collectibles in total, including 14 Mementos. Its breakdown is a useful way to read the Touchpad tracker:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors| Collectible type | Count |
|---|---|
| Cards | 36 |
| Intel | 23 |
| Mementos | 14 |
| Postcards | 10 |
| Legacy Items | 9 |
| Total | 92 |
Those are guide-reported game counts rather than a published developer statistic. Collecting the Mementos contributes to the Recovered Assets trophy or achievement. A separate third-party tracker, 007-first-light.com’s collectibles page, reports the same 92-item breakdown and identifies A Collector’s Habit as the all-collectibles gold trophy.

The 14 Mementos are one category among five, so a total of 14 does not mean there are only 14 collectibles in the campaign. If your overall total is short, compare the individual categories in the Touchpad rather than assuming an uncollected Memento is the cause. This page is limited to the Memento route.
Are any Mementos missable?
No. PowerPyx says the collectibles are not permanently missable. Every chapter can be replayed through Chapter Select after the campaign, and each pickup is saved immediately. That makes it safe to finish the story first and then return only to the checkpoints you need.
The campaign does not provide a chapter-by-chapter collectible checklist. Open the Touchpad tracker to see your total by collectible type, then compare that number with the 14-item route below. The tracker tells you how many you have, but not which chapter still contains a missing Memento. A simple note listing the checkpoint numbers you have completed prevents repeated searches, especially because Chapter 8 contains two Mementos at the same checkpoint and Chapter 16 contains two at different checkpoints.

You do not need to restart a complete playthrough for cleanup. A short preparation routine makes the route more reliable:
- Check the category total. Confirm that the Memento count, rather than Cards, Intel, Postcards, or Legacy Items, is the number that is incomplete.
- Load the exact checkpoint. The objective and checkpoint names below are more useful than a broad chapter title because several areas contain multiple rooms and approaches.
- Review your gadget assignment. The Dart Phone unlocks in Chapter 5, and the Laser Strap unlocks in Chapter 9. Some routes use a distraction, while PowerPyx specifically recommends the Laser Strap for certain later collectible runs.
- Scan with the Q-Watch. It unlocks in Chapter 4 and highlights nearby collectibles in yellow. Scan after entering a room and again after moving through a side corridor, because a yellow highlight can be easy to miss among desks, crates, and props.
- Let the save register. Pickups save immediately according to PowerPyx. Give the game a moment to record the item before quitting or selecting another chapter.
Chapter Select can assign a different gadget loadout from the one used during the original story run. If a route is blocked, reload the checkpoint with the required equipment instead of assuming the item is bugged. PowerPyx’s advice to replay from Chapter 9 onward with the Laser Strap equipped is practical walkthrough guidance, not an official universal loadout rule.
Q-Watch scans and the gadgets that open routes
The Q-Watch unlocks in Chapter 4. When you scan with it, nearby collectibles are highlighted in yellow, which is especially useful in rooms with several desks, crates, or side corridors. Two in-game gadgets matter for access: the Dart Phone unlocks in Chapter 5, and the Laser Strap unlocks in Chapter 9.
- Dart Phone: use it to distract staff or guards when a prompt or stealth route is blocked. The Cocktail Napkin and Pillow Mint routes are the clearest examples of a distraction opening a staff-only path.
- Laser Strap: some collectibles require it to reach or manipulate an access point. PowerPyx recommends equipping it for the relevant Chapter Select runs.
These are fictional tools unlocked inside the game, not accessories or products that need to be purchased. If you are reading a physical-edition listing, do not confuse a gadget name with a real-world item.
Chapter Select can assign a different gadget loadout from the one you used in the original playthrough. PowerPyx’s practical advice is to replay from Chapter 9 onward with the required gadget equipped when a route calls for the Laser Strap. That is a walkthrough recommendation, not an official statement that every player must use the same loadout.
All 14 Memento locations by chapter and checkpoint
The directions below follow PowerPyx’s chapter and checkpoint labels. Use the objective name as your navigation handle, then look for the landmark in the route note. When a location includes a key, distraction, purchase threshold, or unusual approach, that requirement is stated before the final pickup landmark.

1. Satellite Part — Chapter 1, Checkpoint 06: Central Camp
Objective: Free the captives in container G9.
Enter Central Camp and follow the story route to container G9. The Satellite Part is directly in front of you as you enter the container. It is the earliest Memento and sits on the critical path, so it is difficult to overlook if you enter G9 for the captive-rescue objective. If you are using Chapter Select, orient yourself by the container label rather than searching the whole camp.
2. Cocktail Napkin — Chapter 6, Checkpoint 05: Get upstairs
Objective: Get to the upstairs lounge.
While following the Staff only objective, go behind the bar. The Cocktail Napkin is on the counter. If access is blocked, use the Bluff prompt, or distract the bartender with the Dart Phone and slip into the staff area. The collectible is not in the open guest space; check the service side of the bar. Scan with the Q-Watch once you are behind the counter if the item blends into the bar props.
3. Pillow Mint — Chapter 8, Checkpoint 03: The game is on
Objective: Search the hotel.
From the large room filled with guests, turn left and locate the Staff Only room before the stairs. Distract the staffer, or activate the vacuum when he moves so you can work unseen. Pickpocket the key, enter the restricted room, and look on the wooden cabinet beside a chair that blocks a door. The Pillow Mint is on that cabinet. The key and the staff-only boundary are the important landmarks; do not search only the public hotel floor.
4. Championship Badge — Chapter 8, Checkpoint 03: The game is on
Objective: Search the hotel.
Follow the dining-room card route, then return to the chess hall. Squeeze through the boxes into the backstage area and turn left into the side corridor. The Championship Badge rests on a large black crate. This is the second Memento at the same checkpoint, so do not leave after collecting the Pillow Mint. A Chapter 8 cleanup run should cover both the staff-room cabinet and the backstage crate before you exit.
5. Pirate Grillz — Chapter 10, Checkpoint 03: Black Market
Objective: Speak to Barkhad Ali and pay the auction fee.
This Memento is gated by story progress. You must first obtain $100,000 for the story. Return to the market entrance afterward. To the right of the pawn shop, find the merchant in a white shirt standing beneath a red umbrella. His stand sells the Pirate Grillz. PowerPyx notes that the item cannot be interacted with before the money threshold, so reaching the market early does not make it available.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →If the stand appears inactive during an early replay, check the story-progress requirement before changing gadgets or searching other stalls. The useful route is: reach the $100,000 milestone, return to the Black Market entrance, identify the red umbrella beside the pawn shop, and interact with that merchant’s stand.
6. Crocodile Tooth — Chapter 10, Checkpoint 09: Leaving Aleph
Objective: Enter the Land Rover.
Before entering the vehicle, walk behind the Land Rover. The Crocodile Tooth is on a crate to the right. The short detour is outside the vehicle’s immediate front, so circle around the rear before triggering the departure. If you are cleaning up both Chapter 10 Mementos, remember that this checkpoint is separate from the Black Market checkpoint used for the Pirate Grillz.
7. Anniversary Pin — Chapter 11, Checkpoint 05: Get upstairs
Objective: Find the assassin.
Leave the press room and enter the restricted area beside it. Distract the guard, go into the Cloakroom, turn right, and squeeze through the gap. The Anniversary Pin is on a shelf beyond that opening. The press room, restricted-area guard, Cloakroom, and narrow gap form the route in that order; if you reach the stairs without seeing the Cloakroom, you have gone past the side entrance.

8. Tero Murto Locket — Chapter 11, Checkpoint 07: Basement
Objective: Confront Sir Nicholas Webb.
After the Murto boss fight, continue into the next corridor and enter the first room on the right, labeled Room 4 Restoration. Take the Restoration Room Keycard from the metal box. Then use it on Room 3 Restoration opposite Room 4. The Tero Murto Locket is on the table on the right-hand side of Room 3. The room labels matter: the key is in Room 4, but the Memento is in Room 3, so searching only the first room will not complete the route.

9. Office Toy — Chapter 12, Checkpoint 02: Executive 1st Floor
Objective: Bypass the sensors.
In the sensor hallway, take the right-hand corridor and use Greenway to move the furniture. Enter the vent, take the first exit on the left, and drop into the office. Check the counter at the upper-right side of the room for the Office Toy. The vent exit is the navigation key: do not continue through the ventilation route after the first left-hand opening.
10. Diving Watch — Chapter 14, Checkpoint 07: Suit up
Objective: Join the party.
After the bowtie quick-time event, turn around rather than heading straight toward the party. The Diving Watch is on the nightstand to the right of the bed. This is a quick reversal immediately after the QTE, so collect it before following the forward-facing objective route.
11. Niko Murto Locket — Chapter 15, Checkpoint 02: Stand down
Objective: Talk to Moneypenny.
Search the starting room for the desk on the second-lowest level, where Basil can be spoken to. It is slightly left of your starting position, down the short stairs. The Niko Murto Locket is on that desk. If you are moving toward Moneypenny immediately, pause at the lower-level desk first; the item is close to the start rather than in a later mission area.
12. Snow Globe — Chapter 16, Checkpoint 04: The gate house
Objective: Access the cable car.
Go upstairs by the cable car and turn around first; the preceding card is on a couch, which helps orient you. Then turn back toward the central reception desk. The Snow Globe is sitting on that desk. This checkpoint has a clear two-step visual reference: the upstairs cable-car route establishes your position, and the central desk is the final landmark.
13. Robot Keychain — Chapter 16, Checkpoint 19: Silo entrance
Objective: Reach HYPERION.
This pickup comes after the long reactor and silo descent. Take the zipline, crouch through the air-conditioning vent, and drop into the office. The Robot Keychain is on a podium behind you as you land, so turn around before leaving the room. Do not search the earlier cable-car reception area for this item; Snow Globe and Robot Keychain are both in Chapter 16 but use different checkpoints and very different landmarks.
14. Dashboard Toy — Chapter 17, Checkpoint 14: Q Lab showdown
Objective: Find the Valhalla keys.
In Q-Lab, follow the objective into the Q-07 Wearables section. The Dashboard Toy is on a small coffee table in that area. This is the final Memento in the route. The Q-07 label is more reliable than trying to identify the correct table from the wider lab, so enter the Wearables section before scanning nearby surfaces.
How to clean up Mementos after the story
- Open Chapter Select. You can use it after completing the relevant story section or the full campaign; there is no need to erase your save or begin a new game.
- Use the exact checkpoint. Match the chapter, checkpoint number, and objective above. This avoids loading a neighboring scene that does not contain the item.
- Check the gadget assignment. If the route requires the Laser Strap, equip it before launching. Use the Dart Phone when a distraction is part of the approach.
- Follow the landmark sequence. Read the route as a chain of rooms, doors, vents, crates, desks, or counters rather than as a general chapter hint.
- Collect and wait for the save. Each pickup saves immediately according to PowerPyx. Do not quit at the instant of interaction if you want to verify that the game has recorded it.
- Check the Touchpad tracker. Confirm that the Memento count increased, then mark that checkpoint complete in your own notes. Repeat only for the checkpoints still missing.
For the Chapter 10 Pirate Grillz, do not assume a replay has unlocked the merchant: the $100,000 story-progress requirement still matters. For the Chapter 16 Robot Keychain, load the later Silo entrance checkpoint rather than searching the earlier cable-car area. Chapter 8 likewise contains two separate Mementos at one checkpoint, so a single replay may require both the hotel staff-room route and the backstage chess-hall route.
A targeted cleanup is also useful if you are pursuing more than the Mementos. The Touchpad category totals distinguish the 14 Mementos from the 36 Cards, 23 Intel, 10 Postcards, and 9 Legacy Items, while the checkpoint list here tells you where to spend your replay time. You can finish one item, verify the count, and move directly to the next unresolved checkpoint.

If the trophy or achievement does not unlock
PowerPyx reports a rare issue in which a collectible trophy may unlock late or fail to appear immediately for some players. Its suggested precautions are to back up your save before collecting the final item of a type and, if an online trophy notification is delayed, try collecting while offline. Treat that as community troubleshooting rather than a guaranteed fix; the walkthrough does not present it as an official support procedure.
IO Interactive’s official FAQ says the main campaign can be played offline after a one-time internet connection downloads the Day 1 patch. Online play is recommended for features such as leaderboards and challenges, and the FAQ says there is no multiplayer experience. Those connection requirements concern the game’s services, not a rule that makes Mementos permanently missable.
If you are checking a delayed notification, first verify the in-game category count and confirm that all 14 Mementos are recorded. A trophy popup delay is different from an item failing to save. If the count is correct but the notification is absent, the backup-and-offline steps above are the cautious options PowerPyx reports; they are not a promise that every platform will behave identically.
Mementos, Tactical Simulation, and real-world merchandise are different things
IO Interactive describes 007 First Light as a third-person action-adventure game with stealth and action systems and an original origin story for a young James Bond. Its Rules of Spycraft feature also describes Tactical Simulation, a replay-focused mode unlocked after Bond’s training that displays collectibles in-world. Tactical Simulation is a game mode; it does not replace the campaign Memento pickups listed here.

If you are looking for a real-world edition, the official 007 Store Legacy Edition listing describes a physical game copy with a Golden Gun replica, steel case, certificate of authenticity, and digital bonus content. The listing gives the replica’s dimensions as 38 cm long, 25 cm high, and 17 cm deep, with a listed weight of 2.38 kg. Those are product-listing details for that edition and do not describe any Memento found in the game.
The merchandise listing should be treated separately from the location guide. It does not establish that every region has stock, nor does it turn an in-game item such as the Dashboard Toy or Robot Keychain into a boxed replica. Check the live regional listing for current platform, edition contents, and availability if you are shopping.
Platform and release context
IO Interactive’s FAQ lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for May 27, 2026, with Nintendo Switch 2 planned for summer 2026. Release timing and availability can vary by region or later announcement, so check the current platform listing before buying. The location route itself is platform-agnostic: the chapter, checkpoint, objective, and landmark names are the navigation references that matter.
The FAQ also identifies the game as self-published and developed with Amazon MGM Studios. That context explains why official release and online-play details come from IO Interactive, while the exact Memento route in this guide comes from PowerPyx’s third-party walkthrough rather than an official complete location list.
