How Remembrance duplication works
Each of the three coffins is a one-use resource per playthrough. According to the Elden Ring Wiki’s Remembrance duplication reference, a DLC coffin can duplicate any Remembrance. Remembrances are earned by defeating their corresponding bosses; Finger Reader Enia can exchange them for associated items, or you can consume them for runes. Duplication lets you obtain another copy when you want both associated rewards rather than choosing just one.
Before confirming, check which Remembrance you want to copy and whether you have already used or consumed it. The coffins do not require you to bring down a Walking Mausoleum or remove bells; those instructions apply to the base-game mechanic, not the Realm of Shadow coffins.

The base game uses Walking Mausoleums for duplication. The two bell-less mausoleums at the Mausoleum Compound are limited to Legend Remembrances, while the DLC coffins are described as accepting any Remembrance.
| Location type | Eligibility | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow of the Erdtree coffins | Any Remembrance, according to the Elden Ring Wiki reference | One Remembrance per coffin per playthrough, according to Game8’s location guide |
| Two bell-less Walking Mausoleums at Mausoleum Compound | Legend Remembrances only, according to the Elden Ring Wiki reference | Not stated in the cited reference |
