Grow a Garden currently classifies 58 crops as vegetables. They are not all obtainable through the same route: some come from the Seed Shop, Daily Deals, seed packs, seasonal events, special requirements, or crafting, while several are listed without a confirmed live obtainment method. This guide covers every vegetable in the current category, its tier, listed acquisition route, cost or drop chance, and any availability warning.
Before you start: what “vegetable” means in Grow a Garden
The vegetable category is an in-game classification, not a strict real-world botanical list. It includes familiar crops such as Carrot, Tomato, and Corn, but also fantasy, seasonal, and event crops such as Beanstalk, Pollenvine, Untold Bell, Severed Spine, and Shadow Spine.

The current category lists 58 vegetables. An older reference guide contains detailed routes for 55 entries, but its closing text incorrectly says there are only 22 vegetables. The itemized entries are the useful part of that guide; the newer category listing adds Bee Bell, Polypea Sprout, and Shadow Spine.

Use the routes below as listed obtainment methods, not guarantees. Seed Shop stock depends on restocks, pack percentages are chances per pack rather than guaranteed drops, and event crops may not be obtainable after their event window closes. For the most reliable live-status check, open the in-game Garden Guide before spending Sheckles, Robux, packs, or crafting materials.
#1 Best Overall
- EASIER SEED STARTING: Our Burpee SuperSeed tray with 36 flexible pop-out cells is designed to simplify indoor seed starting for all your favorite vegetables, flowers and herbs. Just add seed starting mix, seeds, water and light to get growing! Rows are labeled alphanumerically for seedling identification with included Plant-o-Gram diagram. Tray dimensions: 11.5" x 10-3/8" x 2-1/4"
- SMARTER WATERING SYSTEM: Molded corner slots in each cell improve drainage and soil aeration to set your seeds up for germination success. Deep channels in the watering tray draw excess away from the cells, while the raised perimeter edge keeps water contained in the tray - no spills! Seed tray side handles make it easy to lift and pour off excess water or check seedlings daily.
- SIMPLER TRANSPLANTING: Soft food-grade silicone cells cradle seedlings and gently flex to pop out when it’s time to transplant into your outdoor garden! This system is specially designed to reduce stress on your seedlings, so you don't damage their roots. After transplanting, trays are easy to clean and reuse or simply store for next growing season. Top shelf dishwasher safe.
- SEED STARTER TIP: Many favorite vegetables, including peppers and tomatoes, must be started indoors before warmer weather arrives. Start pepper seeds 8-10 weeks before your area’s average last frost date, and tomato seeds 6-8 weeks before last frost. Check your Burpee seed packets for instructions on when and how to plant any of your herb, flower and vegetable seeds.
- 100% GUARANTEED: Burpee is committed to the success of all gardeners. We treat each order with care to ensure healthy seeds, plants, soil mixes and gardening supplies are packaged and sent in excellent condition. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we aim to make it right!

Best way to collect the vegetables
1. Buy the straightforward Seed Shop crops first
Start with the crops that have a direct Sheckle purchase rather than relying on low-probability packs or limited events. Carrot costs only 10 Sheckles, making it the simplest vegetable to add to your collection. Tomato costs 800 Sheckles, while Corn and Cauliflower each cost 1,300 Sheckles when their shop entries appear.
More expensive direct-shop targets include Pumpkin, Bell Pepper, Pepper, Romanesco, Beanstalk, and Great Pumpkin. Their listed Sheckle prices range from 3,000 for Pumpkin to 100 billion for Great Pumpkin. The Robux option may be available as an alternative, but a shop purchase still depends on the relevant seed being in stock unless the game presents it directly through its current shop interface.
Roblox’s core gameplay loop is to wait for the Seed Shop to restock, buy seeds, plant them, let them grow, harvest the produce, and sell crops for profit. Crops continue growing while you are offline, so checking the shop regularly and returning after growth has progressed is more useful than assuming every crop is permanently available.
Optional-cost note: Some entries have Robux prices, but Robux are not required to pursue the full vegetable list: Sheckles, seed packs, events, rewards, and special mechanics cover many routes. If you choose to fund an optional Robux purchase, a Roblox gift card is one possible way to add Robux. Roblox’s gift-card information distinguishes digital and physical cards, and an Amazon-purchased digital gift card can provide Robux but cannot be used for a Premium subscription. This is optional and does not improve crop odds. If you purchase through a link on this page, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
2. Check Daily Deals for Broccoli, Brussels Sprout, and Potato
Broccoli, Brussels Sprout, and Potato are not listed as ordinary Seed Shop purchases in the researched routes. They use Seed Shop Daily Deals instead, with listed prices of 250 million, 1 billion, and 500 million Sheckles respectively.

- Set includes 43 lightly assorted Vegetable and Herb seeds!
- All Seeds are Heirloom, 100% Non-GMO!
- High Germination Rate within 7-14 days
- Great way to stock up for the next planting season! Includes Freedom Farms Vegetable Set Mylar Bag for Optimal Seed Packet Storage!
- Wonderfully producing plants - Current stock will last for years when stored in a dry - cool place!
Keep a large Sheckle reserve if these are collection priorities. The limiting factor is not only cost: Daily Deals stock can be absent when you check, so you need both the required currency and patience for the correct listing.
3. Save the correct packs instead of opening everything immediately
Pack crops are tied to specific pack types. If you are targeting one vegetable, identify its pack first and save that pack rather than opening unrelated packs. The listed vegetable drops are:
- Basic Seed Pack: Eggplant at 8.735%.
- Gardener Seed Pack: Radish at 43.48%.
- Gourmet Seed Pack: Grand Tomato at 0.5%, Jalapeno at 25%, Onion at 40%, and Tall Asparagus at 4.5%.
- Crafters Seed Pack: Dragon Pepper at 0.5% and Violet Corn at 20%.
- Culinarian Chest: Badlands Pepper at 14.5%, King Cabbage at 1%, and Rhubarb at 34.5%.
- Enchanted Chest: Emerald Bud at 34.5%.
- Night Seed Pack: Mint at 15%.
- Zen Seed Pack: Taro Flower at 20%.
- Zenith Seed Pack: Ghost Pepper at 4.5%.
- Summer Seed Pack: Wild Carrot at 40%.
- Season 4 Seed Pack: Mini Pumpkin; the supplied route does not specify a percentage.
- Season 6 Seed Pack: Polypea Sprout at 4.5%, although its page describes the crop as unreleased content.
A percentage is a probability for the relevant pack or chest; it is not a guarantee after a fixed number of openings. The 0.5% routes for Dragon Pepper and Grand Tomato are especially poor candidates for a quick, guaranteed collection plan.
4. Use active events and event shops when they return
Several vegetables are tied to named events or seasonal shops. These are not ordinary shop targets, and their availability can change when the event ends. The event-linked crops in the list are:

- Evolution/event shop: Evo Beetroot and Evo Pumpkin through the Tier I shop.
Do not assume an event is active simply because its crop remains in the category. Check the current event board, shop, or Garden Guide in your server before planning around an event-only vegetable.
5. Complete the special requirements for unusual crops
Four of the most unusual entries use mechanics that are separate from ordinary shopping and pack opening:
- Pecan: reach the 50 kg requirement on the Chubby Chipmunk.
- Snaparino Beanarini: wait for Beanaura weather and have four players hold Beanstalk produce simultaneously. This is a multiplayer trigger, not a normal seed purchase.
- Severed Spine: complete the Harvest Reaper summoning ritual. The listed timing is every four hours, and the crop must also be in stock.
- Shadow Spine: use the Crafting Station with two Beanstalk Seeds, one Zebrazinkle, one Master Sprinkler, and 50 million Sheckles. The listed craft time is one hour. However, the source describes Shadow Spine as unreleased content, so confirm that the recipe is live before gathering the ingredients.
These routes are particularly easy to misread as guaranteed. For example, completing a ritual does not remove the stated stock requirement for Severed Spine, and owning the ingredients listed for Shadow Spine does not prove that the recipe is currently enabled.
Vegetables with no confirmed listed route
The following entries appear in the vegetable category but have no reliable obtainment method listed in the researched references:

- Comprehensive Seed Starter Kit: Each package includes 10 plant germination trays (120 cells peat pots), 100 premium planting labels, and 2 mini plant transplanting tools.
- Bee Bell
- Coolcool Beanbeanstalk
- Fennel
- Frost Pepper
- Iciclesco
- Log Pumpkin
- Magma Pepper
- Mutant Carrot
- Purple Cabbage
For all but Bee Bell, the references describe these as currently unavailable or unreleased. Bee Bell is category-listed, but its route was not independently verified. Treat all nine as status-check items, not as crops you can definitely obtain today.
Polypea Sprout and Shadow Spine are different: they have routes listed in their individual references, but those pages also describe them as unreleased content. They belong on your watch list until the live Garden Guide or game interface confirms that the pack, Season Pass reward, or crafting recipe is enabled.

The in-game Garden Guide is the best place to check crop information and obtainment status inside the live game. It is especially important for event crops, new category additions, and entries whose community-maintained pages may describe unreleased assets.
The vegetable classification can also matter for progression. Sheckles are primarily earned by selling crops and pets, while Beanstalk Points come from submitting requested crops to Jack. Because the game groups these crops under its own vegetable category, a crop that is botanically unusual may still count for an in-game request or event objective if the Garden Guide and current task specify it.

A practical collection order
- Buy Carrot first. It costs 10 Sheckles and gives you an immediate, low-cost entry into the category.
- Add ordinary Seed Shop targets during restocks. Watch for Tomato, Corn, Cauliflower, Pumpkin, Bell Pepper, Pepper, Romanesco, Beanstalk, and Great Pumpkin.
- Build a Sheckle reserve. Daily Deals crops require 250 million to 1 billion Sheckles, while Great Pumpkin is listed at 100 billion Sheckles.
- Sort packs by target. Keep Gourmet, Crafters, Culinarian, Gardener, Night, Zenith, Basic, Enchanted, Zen, Summer, and seasonal packs for the vegetables they can actually produce.
- Prioritize events that are currently active. Event windows can be more restrictive than shop restocks, so collect event currencies and rewards while the relevant event is available.
- Coordinate special mechanics. Find three other players for Snaparino Beanarini, monitor Beanaura weather, and plan around the Harvest Reaper ritual for Severed Spine.
- Verify unreleased entries last. Do not spend resources on a rumored recipe or pack route until the live Garden Guide shows that the crop can be obtained.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the old guide’s conclusion: the itemized reference has 55 entries, while the newer category has 58. The current category count is 58.
- Confusing category membership with availability: a crop can be listed in the category while its event, pack, or release is inactive.
- Treating pack odds as guarantees: a 20%, 4.5%, 1%, or 0.5% chance does not guarantee a drop after a particular number of openings.
- Ignoring stock limits: a Sheckle price only helps when the shop or Daily Deal actually offers the seed.
- Assuming Robux is necessary: many vegetables use Sheckles, packs, events, rewards, or special mechanics, and the complete collection should not be framed as pay-to-win.
- Using real-world definitions: Grow a Garden’s vegetable label includes fantasy crops and does not need to match botanical terminology.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many vegetables are in Grow a Garden?
The current in-game vegetable category lists 58 crops. An older guide provides detailed routes for 55 entries, while the newer category adds Bee Bell, Polypea Sprout, and Shadow Spine.
What is the easiest vegetable to get?
Carrot is the easiest direct purchase because it is Common and costs only 10 Sheckles in the Seed Shop. Its shop listing still needs to be available, but it is far less expensive than the other direct-purchase crops.
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
Do I need Robux to collect every vegetable?
No. Robux is only one listed option for some Seed Shop crops. Other vegetables come from Sheckles, seed packs, chests, events, rewards, crafting, weather triggers, or special requirements. Robux purchases are optional.
Are all 58 listed vegetables obtainable right now?
Not necessarily. Several entries have no listed route and are described by the researched references as unavailable or unreleased. Polypea Sprout and Shadow Spine have listed methods but are also described as unreleased content. Check the live Garden Guide before investing resources.
What is the rarest listed vegetable drop?
Dragon Pepper and Grand Tomato each have a listed 0.5% chance from their respective packs. These are chances per pack, not guarantees, so they may require substantial luck and multiple attempts.
The Bottom Line
The full Grow a Garden vegetable category contains 58 crops, but a complete checklist is not the same as a guaranteed live availability list. Buy cheap Seed Shop crops when they appear, save the correct packs, watch event windows, and use the Garden Guide to confirm unreleased or unverified entries before spending resources.
