Urubamba’s Atocpan objective involves rescuing six Little Tatankasaurs in Natlan. Find each whelp, use the action required at its location, then return to Urubamba to claim three chests and unlock his timed Warrior’s Challenge. The locations are shown on the guides’ maps; their pin numbering differs, so follow one map’s sequence rather than combining numbering from separate walkthroughs.
Where to find Urubamba
Urubamba is a Master Trainer associated with the Collective of Plenty in Atocpan, Natlan. Guides place his camp near Atocpan’s entrance, northeast of the Collective of Plenty settlement; another describes him at Atocpan’s northwest end, on a platform with a Little Tatankasaurus. Use a nearby waypoint and the local map to locate the camp. You do not have to speak with him before starting the rescues, but you must return to him afterward to complete the objective and collect the rewards.
How to rescue all six Little Tatankasaurs
Use the map pins in a single walkthrough as your location sequence. Beebom and GameWith number some encounters differently, so there is no reliable combined pin order. At each spot, identify the encounter and perform the corresponding action:
- Break the mechanism: Indwell into a Tatankasaur and charge the mechanism holding a whelp. If it is an automaton that resists normal attacks, use the Tatankasaur’s Elemental Skill to smash it.
- Stop the Hilichurls: Defeat the Hilichurls harassing or chasing a whelp.
- Clear the cave entrance: At a cave-area rescue, defeat the Hilichurls at the entrance.
- Rescue the whelp inside the cave: Continue into the cave and defeat the Hilichurls holding another whelp.
- End the Tepetlisaur chase: Approach the Tepetlisaur being chased by a whelp and use the Catch interaction. The whelp returns to camp.
- Free the whelp near the Matador Monetoo: Indwell into a Tatankasaur and charge the Matador Monetoo until it becomes graffiti on a nearby rock. Then hit the graffiti with the Tatankasaur.
The two guides describe six rescues but differ in the order and labeling of some encounters. Match the action descriptions to the pins on the map you are following; do not assume a numbered location in one guide corresponds to the same number in another.

What completing the objective unlocks
After all six whelps are back, return to Urubamba and speak with him. Beebom lists the dialogue response “They are all back now.” The completion rewards are three chests: an Exquisite Chest, a Precious Chest, and a lowest-tier chest. Beebom calls the last one a Normal Chest, while GameWith calls it a Common Chest, so the English label varies between the guides.
Returning the whelps also unlocks Urubamba’s Warrior’s Challenge, a timed Tatankasaur course in which you collect coins.

Some Version 5.5 community-guide search text mentions finding “all 8 baby Tatankasaurus” for a Collective of Plenty puzzle, but that page’s objective could not be confirmed as the same one. The two focused Urubamba walkthroughs describe six whelps, which is the count for this specific objective; do not add two other creatures to its rescue list.
