Ability Items are capsules you equip through character customization in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. They can alter attack power, health, Ki use and recovery, movement, defense, Skill Count, or team-battle mechanics. Below is a reference list of effects reported by Dexerto, grouped by what they affect. It is not an official, publisher-confirmed master list: check the live in-game description for exact wording and availability, especially where an entry is flagged as unclear.
How to read this Ability Item list
Bandai Namco’s beginner’s guide describes Ability Items as character-customization capsules that can enhance attributes such as speed, strength, and HP. The guide explains the systems they interact with, but does not publish a complete item-by-item catalog. The effects below are Dexerto’s reported descriptions, not results of firsthand testing; its page has apparent wording anomalies, duplication, and gaps.

Ki fuels super attacks and movement. Skill Count supports actions including transformations, fusion, Super Perception, and Revenge Counter, as explained in Bandai Namco’s guide. Those mechanics help distinguish an item that changes a resource cost from one that changes damage or a character’s health.
“Slightly,” “greatly,” and similar terms follow the reported guide wording. The public sources do not establish a complete official count, confirm the list is exhaustive for the current game version, or settle every effect description.

How to get Ability Items
Secondary guides report that capsules can come from mission rewards, the in-game shop using Zeni, and some Shenron summons. Dexerto also identifies Zen-Oh’s Orders and Whis’s Stamp Book objectives as ways to earn Zeni. These are guide-reported acquisition routes; current rewards and shop availability may vary by game version, so check the game’s current menus rather than relying on a fixed unlock list.

What is and is not confirmed
Bandai Namco’s official beginner guide confirms the customization system and the broader stats and resources that capsules can affect. It does not verify every name or effect in the catalog above. Dexerto’s guide is useful as a practical reference, but its reported descriptions include apparent errors and omissions—most notably the wording for Ki Blast Attack Boost 2 and 3 and Smash Attack Boost 3, plus the missing Rush Ki Blast 2 entry. Check those capsules’ descriptions in the latest in-game version before using the details to plan a build. Bandai Namco’s official game page links to update and DLC information, but does not establish a complete capsule catalog.
