There are five Acorn Gathering challenges in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Each costs 10 rupees to enter; collect every acorn before the timer expires to earn the standard 20-rupee reward. A faster first clear at each location also earns a one-time bonus, including a Heart Piece in Kakariko Village.

The table separates the regular completion reward from the stricter first-clear time and its one-time bonus. The time threshold is shown as “under” because matching the listed number is not enough.

Location, timing, and reward details are listed in Nintendo Life’s 2024 guide. The Jabul Waters fast-clear cash reward differs from the Zelda Dungeon wiki, edited in 2026; the sources do not establish which figure is correct.
How the challenge and bonus work
Pay 10 rupees to start, then collect all the acorns within the location’s standard time. Completing that challenge earns 20 rupees. The faster threshold is a separate target for a one-time bonus on your first clear at that location; it is not the standard timer or a repeatable payout.

How to find the Northern Sanctuary challenge
The Acorn Guy does not appear outside Northern Sanctuary until you have cleared the Stilled Northern Sanctuary Rift. After that, look just outside the sanctuary, north of Hyrule Castle Town.

Nintendo Life’s guide suggests using Zelda’s spin shortly before and after picking up an acorn, equipping the Frog Ring for higher jumps—especially at Northern Sanctuary and in west Hyrule Field—and using Zora’s Flippers in water-focused challenges. It also recommends keeping useful Echoes such as Bed, Cloud, and Platboom readily accessible. These are guide recommendations, not independently tested results.
