How players earned Anniversary Auction points
Players earned points by landing on pickup tokens that appeared randomly on the board. Each pickup was worth two points before the dice multiplier, and collecting one caused another to appear. A higher multiplier increased the points earned from a pickup, but reaching a particular token depended on how many spaces away it was.
What the drum-token rewards were for
The drum tokens were for Parade Partners, a separate limited-time team activity running alongside Anniversary Auction. In its official anniversary feature, Google Play describes players collecting festival drums around the board and exchanging them for event wheel spins. Partners shared a progress bar and could receive milestone prizes.
