To find a specific piece, search a current item database and compare its slot, grade, stats, traits, set membership, set-bonus threshold, and any listed acquisition details. There is no single best armor set established for every character or activity.
Armor slots in Throne and Liberty
TLDB separates armor into these six catalog categories:
- Headgear
- Cloak
- Chest
- Gloves
- Legs
- Shoes
Use the slot names to narrow a search, then compare the attributes and effects relevant to your build. The catalog pages do not establish a universal ranking across builds or game contexts.

Games Lantern
Games Lantern’s Throne and Liberty armor and jewelry database supports direct item searches and combined filters for armor type, quality, set, traits, and extra stat. Item tooltips provide previews; individual item pages may include drop locations and enchanting progress. Treat acquisition and progression details as item-specific, and confirm them against the game version you play.

TLDB
TLDB’s item-set catalog lists named sets and their effects, including the piece-count thresholds for activating bonuses. The database displayed version 3.18.0 when checked on October 7, 2026. That is database metadata, not a guarantee that every entry matches every region or a later game patch. TLDB also surfaced the same item-set content at its alternate item-set page.
Throne and Liberty Codex
Throne and Liberty Codex’s armor page offers grade filters from Common through Heroic, along with stat, trait, and enchantment-level filters. Its item table is dynamically loaded, so use the page as an interactive lookup rather than a fixed, complete list.

How to compare armor pieces and sets
- Start with the slot. Search the category you want to fill: headgear, cloak, chest, gloves, legs, or shoes.
- Filter to relevant candidates. Narrow results by armor type, quality or grade, set, traits, and extra stat where the database offers those filters.
- Compare the item details. Check stats and traits against the needs of your character and build. If an item page lists a drop location or enhancement progression, use that detail for that item rather than assuming it applies to every piece.
- Check the set threshold. Read the exact effect and required number of equipped pieces. Named sets can have different activation thresholds; do not assume that equipping any particular number will trigger the bonus.
- Verify current availability. Check names, effects, and acquisition details in your region and game patch, especially when the database page shows a version older than the one you play.
Why a patch check matters
Armor catalogs and set effects can change with game updates, and third-party databases may not reflect every region or the latest patch. Games Lantern and TLDB are useful for browsing and comparison, while Codex provides additional grade and item filters. Confirm an important item or bonus in the live game before planning around it.
