How to get an awakening
The dedicated wiki says a Purified Curse Hand is used to roll an awakening and describes the item as available from level 300 onward. Its item page also identifies the hand with a random cosmetic awakening: Purified Curse Hand. However, a September 2026 community guide describes a different acquisition route involving Nightmare boss drops, the Curse Market, and an Awakening Shrine (TheGamer’s guide). These accounts do not align, and no official source in the available material resolves the difference.

The wiki lists chest drops, trades, and the Curse Market as ways to obtain a Purified Curse Hand, and recommends bosses or investigations for chest loot. It also mentions the Item Notifier for locating map loot. The same wiki reports a 0.25% chest chance, but that is an unverified community figure—not an established current drop rate. Check the item’s live availability and acquisition details in-game before planning around any one method.

Rerolling and restoring an awakening
According to the wiki, using another Purified Curse Hand rerolls the awakening and replaces the one currently equipped. Previously rolled awakenings can be selected again through the Awakening Storage NPC, which the wiki places in Zen Forest near the Sandbox NPC. A September 2026 guide says storage can be used to choose abilities and passives, cosmetics, or both, with a swap paid in in-game currency (TheGamer’s guide). It says V2 forms are earned through the Exchange Event. A separate September 2026 guide gives a concrete example for Energy Halo: equip Energy Halo, enter the Exchange Event portal, open Quests, select Awakening V2, choose the Energy Halo quest, and complete its assigned tasks (TheGamer’s Energy Halo V2 guide). That is an example for Energy Halo, not confirmation that every awakening has identical quest tasks.
The Energy Halo guide says its V2 retains the V1 buffs and adds a moveset and passives.
