There are three Azure Flamestones to find for the Sacred Flame Dais: one from the Wishvale story sequence, one in Silver Springs, and one bought from a merchant in Grandport. The stones let you unlock Fast Travel, Area Research, and Animal Whisperer at the dais, in any order. Guides differ on precisely when the first stone is awarded, so use the routes below alongside your current quest progress.
Where to find all three Azure Flamestones
Game8 lists three stones and ties them to these routes. Its walkthroughs describe the Wishvale stone as a story reward; the other two are found through exploration and a purchase.

Wishvale: defeat the Emerald Direwolf
During Kindlers of the Flame Chapter 4, follow the path to the Flamebearer’s Shrine and defeat the Emerald Direwolf. Game8’s quest walkthrough says Laurana receives an Azure Flamestone after the boss and subsequent story events, as the chapter concludes. If you have not reached this story point, continue the quest rather than looking for a separate pickup. Game8’s Chapter 4 walkthrough describes the sequence.
Silver Springs: inspect the shining object
In the dungeon unlocked during Bestower of Wealth Chapter 3, look on the left side of the room for a shining object and interact with it. Game8 identifies this as another Azure Flamestone. Game8’s location guide provides the route.

Grandport: purchase from the Traveling Ore Merchant
Go to the Item Shop in Grandport and use the Purchase Path Action on the Traveling Ore Merchant. Game8 confirms the interaction but does not state a price. Neoseeker reports a price of 30,000 leaves; that figure is from Neoseeker and is not corroborated in the retrieved Game8 passage. Check the merchant’s displayed price in your game before buying. Neoseeker’s location guide gives the reported price.
Why accounts of the first stone differ
Game8 associates the first stone with the Emerald Direwolf sequence in Wishvale, while Neoseeker says a stone is obtained automatically when the Sacred Flame Dais is first built. The guides do not establish how that difference relates to quest state or progression, so the exact first-stone timing is not settled by these accounts. If your inventory or dais access does not match one guide’s sequence, continue your current story chapter and check the other two routes rather than assuming a stone is permanently missable. What Azure Flamestones unlock
At the Sacred Flame Dais, the stones enable three features. Game8 says the dais becomes available in Kindlers of the Flame Chapter 5 and that you can choose the features in any order. RPG Site also describes the same three benefits. Game8’s guide and RPG Site’s guide cover the unlocks.

There is no universally correct selection order established by the guides. Game8 recommends Fast Travel first for convenience, but choose according to what you need most: less travel, completion tracking, or animal interactions.
