There are four bank locations in the Borderlands 4 base game: The Launchpad, Carcadia, Belton’s Bore, and Bones of Sanctuary. The Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC adds a fifth, The Speakeasy, in Whispering Glacier. These are gear-storage banks, not story Vaults.
Base-game bank locations
GamesRadar+ lists four banks in the base game. Each is in a faction town; use the named landmark below to find it.

DLC bank: The Speakeasy
The Speakeasy is in Whispering Glacier and requires the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC, according to VexoWire’s guide, updated March 28, 2026. Look in the first-floor room on the east side, beside the contract board. The guide says players first visit this area during “On Icebound Shores Abandoned.” Its location details are guide-reported; check in-game if the landmark does not match your route.

Find a bank with Echo Location
At a faction town, use Echo Location to pin the bank on your compass. GamesRadar+ says the marker appears as a piggy-bank icon. This can help when you are in the right town but do not remember which building or floor contains the machine.
What the bank is for
Bank machines store weapons and gear. Destructoid’s guide reports that deposited items are shared across Vault Hunters, that you can deposit items from your backpack, and that you must visit a bank to withdraw them. It also says Storage Deck Upgrades can increase capacity. These mechanics are described by a secondary guide, not the official publisher material; consult the current game build if a particular storage behavior matters to you.
