The 2024 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta featured eight maps and eight game modes across two weekends. When did the Black Ops 6 beta run?
Activision scheduled Weekend One for August 30 through September 4, 2024, with early access for eligible pre-order customers and Game Pass subscribers. Weekend Two was an open beta for all players, running September 6 through September 9, 2024. The announcement listed 10 a.m. Pacific as the start and end time for the stated dates. Which maps were in the beta?
The final beta roster had five Core maps designed for 6v6 and three smaller Strike maps. Weekend One’s final lineup had six maps; Weekend Two kept those and added Babylon and Stakeout. The official beta guide lists the playable maps and their weekend availability.

Which game modes were available?
The beta offered standard objective and elimination modes, plus Face Off variants that disabled Scorestreaks and used compact Strike maps. What was added in Weekend Two?
Weekend Two expanded the roster rather than replacing the first weekend’s content. The map additions were Babylon (Core 6v6) and Stakeout (Strike); the mode additions were Gunfight and Face Off Kill Order. Earlier beta maps and modes remained available. The official guide also described 16 multiplayer maps for launch—12 Core 6v6 and four Strike—so the eight beta maps should not be mistaken for the game’s complete map catalog.
