Battlefield 6 is already out: EA released it on October 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The original pre-order offer ended October 9, 2025, so it is no longer a generally available offer; check your local store for any current promotion. The two official editions are Standard, which includes the base game, and Phantom, which adds digital cosmetics, XP boosts, and a Battlefield Pro token.
Battlefield 6 Standard and Phantom editions at a glance
EA’s official editions differ in their included digital extras. Standard is the base-game purchase. Phantom includes the full game plus a collection of cosmetics, progression boosts, and a Battlefield Pro token. Neither edition’s current price is established consistently across regions and platforms, so compare the live prices on the store where you intend to buy.
| Edition | What it includes | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | The base game. EA Help also lists the Tombstone pre-order content for Standard owners; that was a historical pre-order offer, not a promise for current purchases. | Players who want the game and do not particularly want Phantom’s bundled extras. |
| Phantom | The full game; Phantom Squad soldier skins; Glimmer melee knife skin; Shrouded M433 and Drop Shadow MS2010 ESR weapon packages; Chimera M1A2 SEPV3 vehicle skin; Death’s Head sticker; Cryptic charm; Operative dog tag; Phantom XP Boost Set (2x hardware XP and 2x career XP); and a Battlefield Pro token. | Players who want the bundled digital items and consider them worth the current upgrade price. |
EA says the Battlefield Pro token includes a Battle Pass, 25 tier skips, exclusive rewards, and more. The token must be redeemed during an active Battlefield season. Phantom’s items are digital entitlements, not separate physical game content. EA Help’s edition-content details explain which content is associated with each edition.
Can you still get the Battlefield 6 pre-order bonus?
EA’s original pre-order offer ended October 9, 2025, the day before launch. Both Standard and Phantom pre-orders included the Tombstone Pack, described as a soldier skin and Tombstone XP Boost Set; Phantom pre-orders also included Phantom extras and the Battlefield Pro token. EA Help says pre-order content was made available in-game at launch, but that does not establish that a purchase made now qualifies for it. Check the exact live listing for any retailer-specific or renewed offer rather than assuming the old bonus is included.
