Chef Bear—originally documented as Bizzy Bear—is the honey-crafting NPC in Grow a Garden. The complete researched list contains 30 turn-ins. Each recipe requires a specific amount of Honey plus a particular crop, mutation, and minimum weight. The table below uses the corrected June 2025 recipe list, while flagging values that differ between published guides. Because later updates can change NPC names, locations, currencies, requirements, or rewards, check the active recipe prompt in your game before submitting a valuable crop.
Chef Bear crafting recipes and rewards
Submit the required Honey and crop at the Chef Bear/Bizzy Bear crafting area. The crop must have the listed mutation and meet or exceed the minimum weight. A crop with the right name but the wrong mutation—or the right mutation but insufficient weight—will not satisfy the recipe.

The final recipe is the biggest progression target because it awards a Honeysuckle Seed. However, reaching it requires 40 Honey and a correctly mutated Purple Dahlia at a disputed minimum weight, so it is not always the best first use of your resources.

- Lumira Seeds: The Foxglove and Grape turn-ins provide Lumira Seeds. Guides generally treat Lumira as one of the more desirable crop rewards, although crop values and market conditions can change.
- Flower Seed Packs: Several recipes award packs, including the first, seventh, twelfth, sixteenth, and twenty-first through twenty-fifth recipes. Their contents can make them useful even when you are not pursuing the final seed.
- Anti Bee Eggs: These appear at multiple milestones and provide access to bee-related pets or hatch outcomes. Their usefulness depends on the current egg table and game version.
- Honey Crafter’s Crates: The crate rewards are spread through the list, with four crates from the Hive Fruit recipe being one of the larger single-turn-in payouts.
- Honeysuckle Seed: This is the unique final reward listed for the Purple Dahlia recipe and is the clearest end-of-chain objective.
These are progression priorities, not guaranteed profit rankings. Seed values, hatch tables, and event systems may change after the original June 2025 event.
How to use Chef Bear’s crafting system
- Check the active recipe. Open the NPC interaction and read the current Honey amount, crop name, mutation, weight, and reward. Do this before harvesting or submitting a rare crop.
- Collect the required Honey. During the original Bizzy Bees system, Honey came from pollinated crops and was processed through the Honey Compressor. Honey-related systems were later described as part of the continuing crafting ecosystem, but the exact acquisition method can depend on the current game version.
- Prepare the exact crop. A Pollinated crop is not interchangeable with a HoneyGlazed crop. The list begins mostly with Pollinated crops and introduces HoneyGlazed requirements in the later recipes.
- Confirm the weight. Weight is a minimum, not an exact target: a crop heavier than the listed value should qualify if it has the correct type and mutation. Verify this in the prompt because the two disputed endgame values are far apart.
- Submit both requirements. The NPC interaction separates the Honey and crop portions. Complete both parts only after confirming that you are using the intended crop.
- Repeat for the next recipe. Keep your remaining Honey and crops available until you know what the next active requirement is.
Where is Chef Bear/Bizzy Bear?
The original guides place Bizzy Bear near the center of the map, beside the large Queen Bee. The NPC may now be labelled or described as Chef Bear in later update material. Look for the honey-crafting interaction and its separate areas for depositing Honey and the requested crop. If the NPC is missing or the location has changed, use the current map and in-game event interface rather than relying on the original 2025 placement.

How to prepare for all 30 turn-ins
- Reserve Honey. Do not spend your entire balance in the Honey Shop before checking the next Chef Bear requirement. The listed recipes require a total of 463 Honey if completed once each.
- Keep duplicate crops. Strawberry, Tomato, Corn, Apple, Bamboo, Cacao, Grape, and Mango appear among the progression requirements and are worth preserving rather than selling immediately.
- Preserve heavy specimens. Later requirements are demanding: the list includes a 30 kg Pollinated Mushroom, a 24.6 kg HoneyGlazed Mango, a 20 kg Pollinated Mango, and a 17.8 kg Pollinated Coconut.
- Do not confuse mutations. “Pollinated” and “HoneyGlazed” are separate requirements. A heavier crop with the wrong mutation still fails the recipe.
- Use mutation tools carefully. Sprinklers, bee-related mechanics, and other mutation methods should only be relied on if they are confirmed to work in the current version. Mechanics can change between updates.
- Check weight before harvesting or submitting. If the game displays the crop’s weight, compare it with the active requirement first. This is especially important for rare crops that are difficult to replace.
- Keep the prompt open when sources disagree. Record the exact requirement shown by the game rather than copying an old table into your notes.
Important recipe discrepancies
The published tables used for this guide do not agree on every entry. The main corrected list gives 15.8 kg for HoneyGlazed Beanstalk and 14.5 kg for Pollinated Purple Dahlia. Another guide gives 15.6 kg and 24.5 kg, respectively. The Purple Dahlia discrepancy is particularly significant: a player who prepares a 15 kg crop could pass one version of the requirement but fail the other.

Reward quantities also vary between the sources. The disagreements affect Dandelion Seeds, Flower Seed Packs, Lumira Seeds, Anti Bee Eggs, and Nectar Staffs. Rather than silently presenting conflicting numbers as certain, the table shows the reported range. Your live NPC prompt is the final authority for both the required item and the reward quantity.

Chef Bear, Bizzy Bear, Honey Crafter, or Bee Crafter?
These names can refer to the same crafting character in community guides. The NPC was introduced as Bizzy Bear during the Friendship/Bizzy Bees update on June 7, 2025. Later update-history material refers to a Chef Bear NPC formerly known as Bizzy Bear. “Honey Crafter” and “Bee Crafter” are descriptive community names rather than evidence of a separate recipe system.
This character should not be confused with the separate Chris P. cooking system. If a guide tells you to use cooking ingredients or a cooking station, it may be discussing a different feature.

Are these recipes still available?
The recipe list is based on the June 2025 Friendship/Bizzy Bees update and later honey-system references. Availability is version-dependent. Later 2026 update changes may alter how Honey is obtained, where the NPC appears, how the character is labelled, or whether the original rewards remain obtainable. Treat this page as a reference for the documented recipe chain, but confirm every active requirement and reward in the current Roblox client before using an expensive crop.
