There are seven companion gifts in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, each sold by a related faction merchant. The table below gives each gift’s recipient, exact shop location, and listed price where available. Two gifts can become permanently missable depending on whether Rook saves Treviso or Minrathous after “A Man’s Best Friend.”
Where to buy every companion gift
Prices and detailed shop locations below are reported by Gamer Guides. Its guide was released on October 27, 2024, and last updated on February 3, 2025. The Black Emporium price is not stated in that guide.

Which companion gifts can you miss?
Neve’s Collected Evidence
After “A Man’s Best Friend,” choosing to save Treviso can permanently block access to Neve’s gift in that playthrough, according to Gamer Guides. If you want to give her Collected Evidence, prioritize buying it before making that choice.

Lucanis’s Antivan Tea Set
Choosing to save Minrathous after “A Man’s Best Friend” can permanently block access to Lucanis’s gift in that playthrough. Buy the Antivan Tea Set before resolving the choice if you want to give it to him.
The guide does not establish comparable route locks for the other five gifts. It also does not provide a complete unlock timeline for every merchant, so their earliest availability should not be assumed from the locations alone.

How to give a gift to a companion
- Visit the faction merchant listed for the companion and purchase their named gift.
- After buying it, follow the resulting quest back to the Lighthouse.
- Give the gift to its intended companion there.
Giving gifts helps build the recipient’s companion bond. It is one part of the relationship system rather than a guaranteed romance outcome: Electronic Arts’ romance guide says romance can also involve flirtatious dialogue, siding with a companion, and going on quests with them.
