The Starsand Island Wiki’s unofficial crop index lists 67 entries, from vegetables and flowers to saplings, aquatic plants, mushrooms, pasture grass, and the unusual “Exotic Egg.” Here is the complete list; check the in-game Islandpedia for current names and planting details, since crop availability and mechanics may change between builds.

What to know before planting

Season matters

A community seasonal guide describes four seasons—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—each lasting 28 in-game days. It says crops still growing when a season changes wither if they are not suited to the new season. Treat those details as unofficial guidance and verify them in your current build. Before planting, compare the time remaining in the season with the crop’s listed growth time. The guide names Wheat, Pasture Grass, Garlic, and Potato as examples of crops that grow year-round; it does not establish a complete all-season list or official “best” crops. See the seasonal crop guide.

Some crops need a different growing space

Not every entry belongs in an ordinary field plot. The community guide describes Rice as requiring a waterlogged paddy, and says some climbing crops need trellises. Check the crop’s in-game planting requirements rather than assuming one plot type works for all 67 entries. The guide also describes sprinklers as an Intermediate Farmer unlock that waters nearby tiles in the morning, and Everlasting Seeds as a Senior Farmer unlock that return after harvest. These progression details are unofficial and may change.

Giant crops are not guaranteed

The same guide says planting an eligible crop in a 3×3 grid can produce a giant crop by chance, naming Watermelon, Pumpkin, and Cabbage as examples. It describes the result as random, so treat giant crops as a possible bonus, not a guaranteed harvest.

Use the list as a catalogue, not a planting calendar

The index establishes names, but it does not provide the per-crop season, growth duration, plot type, regrowth, harvest count, seed requirements, or progression unlocks needed to plan a farm reliably. Consult the Islandpedia entry for the crop you want to plant, then confirm its requirements against the current build. A community guide page describes its farming information as verified on PC build 1.09.5664, but the page was not available for direct review here; it is not a substitute for checking the game. The reference is Starsand Island Guide’s farming page.
