Its Force Ability routes were available during that 2025 season; the sources below do not establish whether they are available in Battle Royale or other modes now.
All five Force Abilities and how to get them
During GALACTIC BATTLE, three routes were available at launch on May 2, 2025: train with Rey or Emperor Palpatine, or defeat Darth Vader Samurai. Mace Windu and Darth Maul were added on May 8. The table summarizes the season’s abilities and acquisition routes, as described by Epic Games and Insider Gaming.
| Force Ability | How to get it in Chapter 6 Season 3 | Reported effect |
|---|---|---|
| Force Push | Interact with hologram Rey, who grants a blue lightsaber. | Pushes everything in front of you. |
| Force Lightning | Interact with hologram Emperor Palpatine, who grants a red lightsaber. | Delivers a damage-dealing lightning attack. |
| Force Saber Throw | Defeat Darth Vader Samurai at Vader Samurai’s Solitude. This route grants the distinct red lightsaber associated with him. | Throws the lightsaber forward. |
| Force Pull | From May 8, interact with hologram Mace Windu, who grants a purple lightsaber. | Pulls nearby objects and people toward you. |
| Force Throw | From May 8, interact with hologram Darth Maul, who grants a red lightsaber. | Picks up nearby objects and throws them as projectiles. |
How to find the hologram trainers
Rey, Palpatine, Mace Windu, and Darth Maul appeared as holograms rather than at a single fixed map location, according to Insider Gaming’s May 2, 2025 guide. Watch the map for a beacon matching the trainer’s color: blue for Rey, red for Palpatine and Maul, and purple for Mace Windu. The guide does not specify a fixed location for any of those holograms.
How Force Abilities and lightsabers work
You needed a lightsaber equipped to activate a learned Force Ability, but it did not have to be the saber received from that ability’s trainer. The ability belonged to the player, not the weapon: Epic explained that looting an enemy’s lightsaber or finding one on the ground would not grant that player’s Force Ability. In other words, looting could provide a saber to wield, but not the other player’s trained power.
