This is a season-specific reference to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 NPCs reported at launch in November–December 2025. The guides cited below do not verify that these characters, locations, or services remain in the live game on October 8, 2026. Treat the locations as historical and check in-game before planning a current match route.
Launch guides consistently named these ten characters, though they disagreed about the full roster count and some individual menus. The table gives each recurring character’s reported POI, landmark, and service; uncertain or match-variable offers are identified rather than presented as guaranteed.
Chapter 7 Season 1 NPC locations and reported services
Use the POI as the primary destination and the landmark to narrow your search. The landmark and service details are compiled from launch-period guides, not verified in-game tests. Dot Esports provides individual service reports; Insider Gaming describes some general offers as variable between matches.
| NPC | POI | Reported landmark | Reported service |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carina | Battlewood Boulevard | Rooftop of a house | Supply Specialist; hire for 600 Gold. |
| Carter Wu | Latte Landing | Outside a cabin | Heavy Specialist; hire for 600 Gold. |
| Cat Holloway | Humble Hills | Open area in the POI | Medic Specialist; hire for 600 Gold. |
| Dummy | Ripped Tides | Near a small hut | Battle Bus quest; Dot Esports also reports health or shields for 500 Gold. |
| Heroic Hope | Classified Canyon | Inside a building | Variable offers were reported, including health or shields for 500 Gold and a chance to receive free Gold. |
| Kingston | Bumpy Bay | General area of the POI | Medic Specialist; hire for 600 Gold. |
| Miles Cross | Painted Palms | Outside a garage | Heavy Specialist; hire for 600 Gold. |

| Unpeely | Wonkeeland | Amusement park | Dot Esports reports Max Ammo for 500 Gold; other launch guides do not establish a fixed item offer. |
| Vengeance Jones | Innoloop Labs | Atop the lab | Dot Esports reports a Medic Specialist; other launch guides describe no fixed item offer or a possible quest role. |

Which NPCs were hireable Specialists?
Launch guides consistently identify five Specialists and three roles. Each was reported to cost 600 Gold to hire:
- Supply: Carina at Battlewood Boulevard.
- Heavy: Carter Wu at Latte Landing and Miles Cross at Painted Palms.
- Medic: Cat Holloway at Humble Hills and Kingston at Bumpy Bay.
The guides establish the listed roles and hire price, but do not provide tested comparisons of their combat performance.
What services could vary between matches?
Insider Gaming reported that non-specialist service menus could vary from match to match. Its launch guide lists four general possibilities: free Gold tied to match performance, a Rift for 500 Gold, an ammo restock for 500 Gold, or health and shields for 500 Gold. These are reported options, not a promise that every character offers every service in every match.
Some individual entries are less settled. Dot Esports reports specific purchases for Dummy, The Bride, Unpeely, Heroic Hope, and Vengeance Jones, while other contemporaneous guides list no fixed item menu for some of those characters or suggest a quest role. Use the table’s attributions as launch-era reports, not guaranteed menus.

Which characters were tied to quests?
Dummy was associated with a Battle Bus quest, and The Bride with a free Gold questline. Those interactions are distinct from a repeatable shop menu: the launch guides do not establish that every quest-linked NPC had a consistent purchasable service. Heroic Hope and Vengeance Jones were also mentioned in connection with possible quest roles, but the guides do not agree on their menus.
How many NPCs were in the launch roster?
The ten names in the table are the recurring named list across Dot Esports, Insider Gaming, and Destructoid. The guides did not agree on the complete total: Dot Esports and Insider Gaming described ten NPCs with one hidden or unrevealed at publication; Destructoid also referred to ten available plus a hidden NPC; Gfinity said twelve were expected and eleven found, while its article body enumerated nine names. These publication-time counts are not a definitive official roster total. Destructoid separately noted three random bosses whose locations changed by match; they are not part of the stable location list above.
Reported map-discovery issue
Insider Gaming reported that Kingston might fail to register as discovered on the map after interaction, describing it as an apparent issue expected to be fixed. That is a contemporaneous launch-period report, not evidence of a current bug.
