Where to find the Great Katana
Travel to the Greatbridge, North Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. Look for a corpse in the water west of the grace; the Great Katana is a direct pickup, with no boss required. The lake area is also described as being beside the Ghostflame Dragon, which can help identify the location.
How to get Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana
Enter Dragon’s Pit and follow the dungeon route to its end, where Ancient Dragon-Man awaits. Defeat him to receive Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana. The route involves following the forks through the dungeon toward the boss encounter; this is a boss reward, not a ground pickup.

How to get Rakshasa’s Great Katana
Rakshasa is in the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum, reached by a hidden route from Shadow Keep. The route begins at the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace.
- From Storehouse, First Floor, take the elevator down to the area with the burning boats.
- Find the ladder on the left side of the platform and climb down.
- Pass the waterfall and descend the next ladder.
- In the room with the painting, strike the wall to reveal a hidden passage.
- Follow the passage down and use the coffin to reach a concealed area of Scadu Altus.
- Continue south, descend by the stone coffins, then travel northeast to the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum.
- Defeat Rakshasa to obtain Rakshasa’s Great Katana.
Which Great Katana should you pursue?
Choose based on the route you want to take and the attributes your character has available. The Great Katana is the simplest to acquire because it is a pickup. Dragon-Hunter’s requires a dungeon boss victory, while Rakshasa’s requires both a hidden-area route and a boss fight. Their listed requirements and weapon skills differ, but the available location information does not establish a universal best choice; that depends on your build and preference.
