The August 2025 guide lists five Grow a Garden pet items: Small Toy, Small Treat, Medium Toy, Medium Treat, and Levelup Lollipop. Toys boost a pet’s passive ability, treats provide pet XP over time, and the lollipop raises a pet by one level. The details below reflect a guide updated August 8, 2025—not a confirmed inventory of the live game today.
What each pet treat and toy does
Beebom’s August 8, 2025 guide describes two purposes: toys boost pet passives, while treats grant XP. It reports a small or medium boost for the corresponding item, but gives no numeric strength, duration, or measured efficiency.

How to get the items
Craft the small items
The guide lists these recipes and a cost of 1 million Sheckles for each:

- Small Toy: 1 Common Egg, 1 Coconut Seed, and 1 Coconut.
- Small Treat: 1 Common Egg, 1 Dragon Fruit Seed, and 1 Blueberry.
Find the medium items and lollipop
The guide says to purchase the Medium Toy, Medium Treat, and Levelup Lollipop in the Gear Shop. It says the Medium Treat can be bought with Sheckles or Robux, but its table marks the price “N/A,” so it does not establish a specific cost. The Levelup Lollipop is listed at 10 billion Sheckles.
The Medium Toy’s table entry reads “4,000,000 Million Sheckles,” which is internally unclear and should not be treated as a reliable price. Check the in-game Gear Shop rather than relying on that figure.
Rank #2
- DELICIOUS BEEF HIDE CHEW: Good ‘n’ Fun Triple Flavor Kabobs are made from premium beef hide, savory chicken, delicious pork hide, wholesome duck and hearty chicken liver.
- GREAT SOURCE OF PROTEIN: Wrapped with premium cuts of real chicken.
- KABOB SHAPE: Treat your pup to a fun ‘n’ flavorful chew time with this kabob-shaped chew.
- SATISFIES YOUR DOG’S NATURAL URGE TO CHEW: The natural chewing action helps reduce tartar buildup and remove plaque.
- SNACK FOR ALL DOGS: Your dog is sure to love this truly delightful, long-lasting treat.
Which item fits your goal?
- To boost a pet passive: choose a toy; the guide distinguishes a small boost from a medium one but does not quantify either.
- To gain XP over time: choose a treat, with the same unquantified small-versus-medium distinction.
- To add a level directly: the guide identifies the Levelup Lollipop as the one-level option.
- To craft rather than shop: the guide lists recipes only for the Small Toy and Small Treat.
When were these items added?
The introduction date is not settled by the available sources. Beebom’s guide was updated August 8, 2025 and already described the items as newly introduced. A separate, secondary Grow a Garden wiki update timeline associates pet feeding and the Small Treat and Small Toy with the August 16 Beanstalk update. Because those accounts conflict—and the timeline is not an official announcement—an exact launch date cannot be stated confidently.
These details are specific to the August 2025 guide. They do not establish whether item effects, recipes, prices, or availability changed afterward.
