Who can Melinoë romance in Hades II?
Supergiant Games confirms that some characters can have non-platonic relationships with Melinoë. Its Post-Launch Patch 2 notes, dated April 14, 2026, say: “Characters with whom Melinoë can have non-Platonic relations may occasionally show interest in continuing to have such relations.” The notes refer to relationship content involving Moros, Nemesis, and Icarus, but they do not identify every eligible character or provide a complete roster. Read the official patch notes.
That distinction matters: the notes mention characters and relationship-system changes, but do not explicitly label each of the three as a romance route or establish a full list. A bond, gift, Keepsake, or intimate scene should not automatically be treated as proof of a romance. For a confirmed, exhaustive answer, the official information available here is incomplete.

Repeat gifts can produce brief scenes
After Melinoë forges a bond with them, most Crossroads characters can receive Bath Salts, Twin Lures, or Ambrosia repeatedly, leading to brief new scenes, according to the patch notes. The notes do not say these repeat gifts are required to start every romance.
Story and character-specific conditions matter
The patch notes refer to later relationship scenes and changes in when some may occur, rather than publishing one route checklist for all characters. In practice, players should continue relevant dialogue and story progression, but the official notes do not specify every flag, gift threshold, or scene trigger.

How the April 2026 patch changed route pacing
Post-Launch Patch 2 changed how some relationship content can appear. Supergiant says later Moros and Nemesis relationship scenes may happen under less restrictive circumstances. It also notes: “Icarus now is less painstakingly reluctant when it comes to trying to forge a bond with him.” These are patch-specific changes, not guaranteed timing for every save file. Older guides may describe behavior from before this update.
The notes do not explain whether every relationship can be pursued at once, nor do they provide exact prerequisites for Moros, Nemesis, or Icarus. Avoid treating an individual player’s route timing as a universal unlock recipe.

Hades II platforms and release context
Supergiant’s FAQ lists Hades II for Steam, Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Version 1.0 launched September 25, 2025, for Steam, Epic Games Store, Switch 2, and Switch; Xbox and PlayStation releases followed April 14, 2026. The FAQ says physical game cards launched for Switch and Switch 2 on November 20, 2025, and that no physical Xbox or PlayStation editions were planned as of its April 14, 2026 update.
