The verified sources below are examples, not a complete list of every Legendary; confirm the item’s current source, content access, and difficulty requirements before farming.

Verified dedicated Legendary sources
Gearbox’s Version 1.9 notes name the following dedicated sources for eight Pearlescent items. The notes also say these items remain world drops, but their world-drop rates were reduced after dedicated sources were added.

The same Version 1.9 notes mention new Pearlescent guns from Vault Guardian Radix and Subjugator, and a new Legendary gun from Ordonite Generator Activity bosses, without naming those items in the cited source. Do not treat those activity references as a complete item-by-item drop table.

Raid rewards and difficulty gates
Version 1.7 introduced the Subjugator and Thol the Invincible raid encounter. Gearbox says new Legendaries, Firmware, and a Pearlescent can be farmed as dedicated drops. Rewards use Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers based on time and difficulty; the cited notes do not give exact clear-time thresholds. Named Legendary examples in those notes include Lockjaw, Shammy Kablammy, Flak Cannon, Collector, and five Legendary class mods.
Bloomreaper the Invincible’s raid pool includes nine new dedicated-drop Legendaries, according to Gearbox’s December 2025 update. Most require a sufficiently fast UVHM clear. Rainmaker is guaranteed at Platinum-tier rewards in UVHM, while Misericorde is available only from Silver-tier or higher rewards in UVHM. Check the current in-game requirements before planning a farm.

Weekly Legendary opportunities
Gearbox describes Weekly Wildcard Missions as offering a guaranteed Legendary that can be earned repeatedly to pursue a preferred roll. The item is guaranteed; the desired version is what you are farming for. Weekly Big Encore Bosses select a tougher version of an existing boss.
As a dated example, Gearbox’s September 17, 2026 weekly notice listed Quadruple Threat—Fractis, Vile Prototype, Idolator Sol, and the Timekeeper—and Hangover Helper, with Lucian’s Flank as its guaranteed Legendary reward. This is a snapshot of that week, not a current weekly recommendation. Check the ECHO Map for the active rotation.

Dedicated drop chances and world drops
In its March 5, 2026 update, Gearbox standardized dedicated loot reward chances across base-game bosses, Invincible encounters, and Bounty Pack bosses. The note explicitly excludes Phosophene rates and does not publish a numeric chance. It does not establish that every boss has the same total Legendary outcome, or that every Legendary has a dedicated source.
Some items can be obtained through both dedicated sources and the world-drop pool. Version 1.9 specifically says the eight named Pearlescents above remain world drops, with reduced world-drop rates after receiving dedicated sources. The available official sources do not establish a complete current world-drop catalog or comparative numerical odds.

Other verified reward paths
Gearbox’s Version 1.9 notes identify Bounty Pack 4 loot as unique to that pack, including Silver Sliver, Overconsumption, Plump Bob, Hydrowerks, Oxidation, and Loiter Sploiter. The cited passage does not assign each item to a particular enemy, so treat these as pack reward-path examples, not confirmed individual boss drops.
Vault Card 4 lists four rerollable Legendary rewards: Divided Glow, Eradication, Stealth & Seek, and Pressure Kettle. This is a reward path, not an individually confirmed enemy source. Check pack ownership and current in-game access before pursuing paid-content rewards.

How to find and farm a specific Legendary
- Look up the item’s current dedicated source or activity in current Borderlands 4-specific documentation or in-game information. Do not assume a similarly titled list is accurate.
- Check whether the route requires a Bounty Pack, Story Pack, raid unlock, UVHM, or a timed reward tier.
- If the item is offered through a weekly activity, check the current ECHO Map listing. Weekly bosses and missions rotate.
- For a raid reward, meet its difficulty and clear-time tier requirements; defeating the boss alone may not qualify for every reward.
- Repeat the activity when appropriate to pursue the desired roll. A guaranteed mission reward does not mean a particular roll is guaranteed.
FAQ
Does every Borderlands 4 Legendary have a dedicated boss drop?
The verified sources do not establish that. Some items have named dedicated sources, and some are world drops; do not assume every Legendary belongs to a boss-specific pool.
Where can I check this week’s Legendary activities?
After completing the main campaign, check the Weekly Big Encore Boss and Weekly Wildcard Mission on the ECHO Map tab. The activities rotate, so use the current in-game listing rather than an older weekly notice.
Are raid Legendaries guaranteed when I defeat the boss?
Not necessarily. The Subjugator and Thol encounter has time- and difficulty-based reward tiers, and Bloomreaper rewards can require a sufficiently fast UVHM clear. Check the relevant current requirements.
Are dedicated drop rates published?
Gearbox’s March 5, 2026 update standardized dedicated loot reward chances across specified boss categories but did not publish an exact numeric rate. It also excluded Phosophene rates.
Is this a complete list of Borderlands 4 Legendary locations?
