Epic also announced three weapons for a later v34.10 update: the Outlaw Shotgun, Pump & Dump, and Rocket Drill. The season ended May 2, 2025, Eastern Time, so this is a historical inventory—not a guide to Fortnite’s current loot pool.
Which weapons did Epic name at launch?
Epic’s February 21, 2025 season announcement grouped two firearms under “Items for Mayhem”: the Collateral Damage Assault Rifle and the Falcon Eye Sniper. The announcement establishes their names and weapon categories, but does not provide damage values, fire rates, rarity-by-rarity stats, or a performance ranking.
| Weapon | Category | What the announcement establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Collateral Damage Assault Rifle | Assault rifle | Named as a new weapon in the launch announcement. |
| Falcon Eye Sniper | Sniper rifle | Named alongside the Collateral Damage Assault Rifle as a new weapon. |
Epic’s LAWLESS season announcement is the source for these launch details. A same-day PlayStation Blog article by Epic’s Molly Dyer provides corroborating season coverage.
Which weapons were announced for the later v34.10 update?
In the launch announcement, Epic said the following three weapons would drop in v34.10. That wording records the plan announced for a later update; the announcement alone does not establish their eventual release date or present-day availability.

What about the Double Down Pistol and The Kneecapper?
Fletcher Kane’s Double Down Pistol
The Double Down Pistol is a Mythic reward for defeating Fletcher Kane. It is a boss-encounter reward, a different category from the two weapons Epic identified as new in the launch announcement.
The Kneecapper
The Kneecapper is a melee bat-like item, not a gun. Epic says wielding it reduces the Energy cost of sprinting and increases sprint speed and jump height, giving it a mobility role rather than a firearm role.

Which other LAWLESS items helped with combat or vaults?
The season announcement also named equipment that should not be counted as guns. The distinctions matter because several items supported combat or vault play without being firearms.
- Thermite: Epic described it as the only way to crack a vault; damaging weak points speeds its detonation.
- Plasma Burst Laser: A tool that can help open vaults.
- Port-A-Cover: Provides protection.
- Pulse Scanner: Detects enemies.
- Med-Mist Grenade: Heals.
- Gold Splash: Grants Gold Rush and restores 20 Health, or 20 Shield if the player is already at full Health.
- Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit: Another named gameplay item, separate from the guns.
LAWLESS’s heist setting revolved around Crime City, bank vaults, Fletcher Kane’s armored transports, and an armored train. Black Markets accepted Gold Bars and Dill Bits for Mythic or Legendary items and Boons. These details describe the season’s gameplay context, not a promise that its locations, items, or systems remain available now.

Epic’s announcement says LAWLESS ended May 2, 2025, Eastern Time. It also listed that season’s Battle Pass at 1,000 V-Bucks or access through Fortnite Crew, with progression ending when the season ended. Those are historical, season-specific details—not current offers.
