What was the Oasis Egg?
The Oasis Egg was a limited, Mythical-tier event egg added on June 28, 2025, during the second half of the Summer Harvest content and the related Mega Harvest update. During the event, the standard egg cost 10 Summer Coins in the Summer Shop and had a listed hatch time of 4 hours and 10 minutes.
#1 Best Overall
A Premium Oasis Egg was also offered for 149 Robux. Historical listings additionally reported bundles of 429 Robux for three eggs and 1,269 Robux for ten. These were event-period prices, not a promise that the eggs are currently available in the store. The Premium Oasis Egg is also reported to use the same five-pet pool; “Premium” refers to the purchase route, not a separate set of pets.
Are Oasis Eggs still obtainable?
Not directly, according to current reference listings. The Oasis Egg is marked unobtainable through the normal Summer Shop route. That status can change if the developers bring back the event, add a restock, or introduce another acquisition method, so check the in-game shop before relying on an older guide.
“The egg is unobtainable” does not mean that the pets have disappeared. Existing Meerkats, Sand Snakes, Axolotls, Hyacinth Macaws, and Fennec Foxes may still circulate through trading or other player-to-player systems. Trading availability, values, and rules can change with updates, and there is no fixed current trade value established here.

1. Meerkat
Rarity: Legendary
Hatch chance: 45%
The Meerkat is the most common Oasis Egg result and acts as a cooldown-support pet. Approximately every 7 minutes and 14 seconds, it performs a lookout for another pet and advances that pet’s ability cooldown by about 21.06 seconds. It reportedly has a 15.53% chance to perform another lookout immediately, allowing the effect to chain.
Rank #2
In practical terms, the Meerkat is most useful in a setup built around pets with valuable abilities that you want to trigger more often. Its 45% chance also makes it the pet players are most likely to receive repeatedly when opening several Oasis Eggs.
The cooldown, reduction, and repeat figures are currently documented community/database values rather than independently verified developer guarantees. Some community references show slightly different numbers, so treat them as reported values that may change with balancing.
2. Sand Snake
Rarity: Legendary
Hatch chance: 34.5%
The Sand Snake has the Coiled Commerce trait. It gives you a chance to duplicate an item purchased from the seed shop or gear shop. A successful duplication can preserve resources by giving you an additional copy without requiring another purchase.

It is particularly relevant to players who regularly spend currency on seeds or gear. Sources agree on the shop-duplication function and the 34.5% hatch rate, but reported duplication percentages vary and may depend on pet age or later balancing. Unless the current game UI displays a specific rate, it is safer not to treat one community-reported percentage as universal.

3. Axolotl
Rarity: Mythical
Hatch chance: 15%
The Axolotl helps preserve Summer-type fruits. When you collect one, the fruit has a chance to remain in your inventory instead of being consumed.
That makes the Axolotl most useful for Summer-fruit farming and event-focused inventories. It does not mean every harvested Summer fruit is automatically returned or preserved. The 15% hatch rate is consistent across the main Oasis Egg references, while secondary guides report somewhat different ability percentages. The reliable evergreen description is simply that the Axolotl gives Summer fruits a chance to persist after collection.
4. Hyacinth Macaw
Rarity: Mythical
Hatch chance: 5%
The Hyacinth Macaw periodically gives nearby fruit a chance to receive the Cloudtouched mutation. Its role is mutation generation: place it where its effect can reach fruit you want to improve, then use the resulting mutations to pursue higher-value harvests.
At 5%, it is the second-rarest standard Oasis Egg result, behind only the Fennec Fox. Older guides may describe the effect with different mutation names or numerical chances. For the current Oasis Egg description, Cloudtouched is the appropriate terminology. As with the other ability rates, do not assume an older percentage remains accurate after a game update.
Rank #4
5. Fennec Fox
Rarity: Divine
Hatch chance: 0.5%
The Fennec Fox is the rarest Oasis Egg pet and the main collector chase. Its ability periodically visits another player’s garden, copies a mutation from one of that player’s fruits, and applies the mutation to a fruit belonging to the Fennec Fox’s owner.
This makes the Fennec Fox different from the other four pets: its effect depends on interaction with another player’s garden. A successful setup therefore requires access to another player and suitable mutated fruit, not just an active garden belonging to the Fennec Fox’s owner.
Guides differ on exactly how the source fruit is selected. Some describe the copied mutation as the most expensive, while others describe it as random or simply as one mutation. Unless the game UI or a current official data source confirms the selection algorithm, the safe interpretation is that the Fennec Fox copies a mutation from another player’s fruit without promising a particular mutation every time.
Oasis Egg hatch odds and collection strategy
For a single egg, the practical order from most likely to least likely is:
Best Value
- Meerkat — 45%
- Sand Snake — 34.5%
- Axolotl — 15%
- Hyacinth Macaw — 5%
- Fennec Fox — 0.5%
The Fennec Fox’s 0.5% chance is approximately one in 200 hatches in the long-run probability sense, not a guarantee that the 200th egg will contain one. Each hatch is an independent roll unless the game explicitly adds a pity or protection system. The same principle applies to the other pets: opening more eggs increases the chance of seeing a pet overall, but it cannot promise a result within a fixed number of attempts.
For collectors, Meerkat and Sand Snake duplicates are the expected outcomes because together they account for 79.5% of the pool. Axolotl and Hyacinth Macaw are less common targets with more specialized event and mutation value. The Fennec Fox is an exceptionally rare acquisition and may be more realistic to seek through a legitimate trade than to expect from a small number of eggs—although current trade terms depend entirely on player supply, demand, and game rules.

Collector note: physical Grow a Garden merchandise
Collectors who want a physical reminder of the game can look for Grow a Garden pet plushies or Roblox collectibles. Check the individual retailer listing carefully: the characters included, licensing status, stock, and any promotional Roblox code can vary. A plush does not unlock an Oasis Egg pet unless the listing explicitly provides a valid code and the current redemption terms say that it does. Do not assume that an unofficial or fan-made listing is official Grow a Garden merchandise.

An Amazon Roblox digital gift card is a separate, indirect option for readers who want Robux for Roblox purchases. It is not an Oasis Egg and does not guarantee access to one. Roblox’s support information states that Amazon gift cards redeem for Robux rather than Roblox Credit; check the current redemption instructions and regional restrictions before buying.
Frequently misunderstood details
- Oasis Egg and Premium Oasis Egg are not separate pet pools. The Premium version refers to the Robux purchase route, and the reported pool is the same.
- Unobtainable does not mean deleted. The egg may no longer be sold directly while hatched pets remain in player inventories.
- Rarity is not the same as ability strength. Meerkat and Sand Snake are more common, but their usefulness depends on your garden and goals.
- Community ability percentages can become outdated. Use the in-game description when it differs from an older guide.
- There is no confirmed current trade value in this guide. Values fluctuate and should not be presented as fixed prices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you still get the Oasis Egg in Grow a Garden?
The Oasis Egg is currently listed as unobtainable through the normal Summer Shop. Its pets may still be available through trading or other player-to-player routes.
What is the rarest Oasis Egg pet?
Fennec Fox, with a 0.5% hatch chance. That is roughly one in 200 hatches as a long-run probability, not a guaranteed result on the 200th egg.
Does the Premium Oasis Egg have different pets?
Yes. The reported Premium Oasis Egg pool contains the same five pets; Premium refers to the Robux purchase route rather than different rewards.
Recommended Free Tools
Are Oasis Egg hatch rates guaranteed over multiple eggs?
No. The hatch chances apply independently to each egg unless the game adds a separate pity or protection system. A set number of eggs cannot guarantee a specific pet.
The Bottom Line
The Oasis Egg’s complete pool is Meerkat, Sand Snake, Axolotl, Hyacinth Macaw, and Fennec Fox. Meerkat is the most likely hatch at 45%, while Fennec Fox is the Divine 0.5% chase pet. The egg is currently listed as unobtainable directly, so players looking for these pets should check legitimate trading routes and confirm the live in-game status rather than relying on historical Summer Shop prices.
