How The Haunt costume contest worked
The game roster and the contest were related parts of the event: entrants could submit avatar screenshots taken in the event hub or participating experiences. Roblox’s October 31 event guide identifies five categories: Creatures, Cute, Villains, Orange, and Scary. Players voted on entries to unlock free items, while standout looks could appear on a leaderboard for larger prizes. In that guide, Roblox Marketing Writer Chantal Guillemot said, “The costume contest is a chance to shine as you submit your avatar into the categories of Creatures, Cute, Villains, Orange, and Scary throughout the event.”

What some highlighted experiences offered
Roblox’s October 2024 Halloween roundup described several of the event’s spooky experiences. Pressure takes players through the Hadal Blacksite; Doors centers on a haunted hotel with monsters and puzzles; Blair is cooperative ghost hunting; and The Mimic is collaborative horror with settings inspired by Japanese history and lore. These are descriptions from a curated Halloween roundup, not proof that its selections make up the full Haunt roster.

No. The event ran October 24 through November 1, 2024, and the Roblox event page now marks the hub as not running. Roblox’s page retrospectively says players “showed up in your most fearsomely inspired styles, claimed troves of exclusive items, and faced the curse of the Headless Horseman.” The list above is therefore a historical reference, not instructions for joining the event now.
