How to get Planet Zoo 2 Twitch Drops when a campaign is live
- Link the accounts. Open Frontier’s Twitch Drops page at https://twitch.frontierstore.net/ and follow its current sign-in and linking flow for your Twitch and Frontier accounts. Use the account path shown there rather than assuming that a Steam-only connection is sufficient.
- Find a qualifying broadcast. During the campaign, open Twitch’s Planet Zoo 2 campaign listing and choose a stream marked “Drops Enabled.” Read that campaign’s stated eligibility, region, platform and watch conditions; they can differ between promotions.
- Watch until Twitch records the requirement. Keep the qualifying stream open for the time shown in the live campaign. The often-repeated one-hour figure has not been officially confirmed for Planet Zoo 2, so do not treat it as a guaranteed threshold.
- Claim the Drop on Twitch. Earning progress is not the same as claiming. Select the claim notification when it appears, or open Twitch Drops Inventory and claim it there.
- Finish Frontier’s activation step. Frontier may require you to return to its Drops page and activate or claim the reward after Twitch marks it claimed.
- Restart the game session. Frontier says in-game rewards become available the next time you log in. If Planet Zoo 2 was already running, log out and back in so delivery can complete.
Why watching alone may not deliver the item
Twitch describes Drops as three separate stages: earning progress on Twitch, claiming the reward on Twitch, and delivery by the game developer. An on-screen progress bar only addresses the first stage. A missed notification does not necessarily mean the reward is lost; check Drops Inventory, then verify the linked account before contacting support. Fixes for a missing Planet Zoo 2 Drop
- No progress appears: confirm the broadcast is marked “Drops Enabled” and that you are watching the campaign’s eligible game and stream category.
- Progress reached the target but no item is visible: open Twitch Drops Inventory and claim it manually.
- Twitch shows claimed, but the game does not: return to Frontier’s Drops page, complete any activation prompt and check that the intended Twitch and Frontier accounts are linked.
- The reward still does not appear: close the game completely, log out and back in, then allow the next login to trigger delivery.
- You used the wrong account: do not repeatedly relink accounts at random; identify the Twitch account that earned the Drop and follow Frontier’s current account-support instructions.

Where to verify the campaign before watching
Check both the live Twitch Drops campaign listing and Frontier’s official Drops page immediately before you start. Confirm the exact reward names, campaign end time, watch requirement, eligible streams, regional restrictions and claim deadline shown for that promotion. The PlayStation Store lists a PS5 version of Planet Zoo 2 at https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/EP2377-PPSA29934_00-PLANETZOO2000000/; owning the game is not presented as a condition for earning a Drop, but the reward must ultimately be delivered to a supported game account.
