Schedule I has 11 named ranks, each with five tiers, from Street Rat to Kingpin. The latest rank-level XP and unlock summary available here was checked against Early Access build v0.4.6f12 on August 11, 2026, and is explicitly partial—not a verified list of every reward at every tier. Use it as a dated overview, and treat exact tier placements with care.
How progression and unlocks work
Tyler’s Video Game Studio describes Schedule I as a game about making products and discovering recipes, distributing them around Hyland Point, expanding through properties and employees, and contending with law enforcement and cartel competitors. Rank progression sits alongside those systems: advancing can bring new districts, production capabilities, and ingredients.
The rank overview below comes from the unofficial Schedule 1 Guide (Hunt Games). Its page says the data is partial and reflects Early Access build v0.4.6f12, last checked August 11, 2026. The official Schedule I website describes the game but does not publish a rank progression table.
Each rank has five tiers. “XP per tier” is the amount reported for each tier in that band; the cumulative figure is the guide’s reported total through that rank. Unlock summaries are broad milestones, not a complete tier-by-tier inventory.
#1 Best Overall
Rank XP and reported major unlocks
| Rank | XP per tier | Cumulative XP through rank | Major unlocks reported by the guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Street Rat | 200 | 1,000 | Northtown; early products and ingredients |
| Hoodlum | 400 | 3,000 | Westville; employee hiring; electric trimmers |
| Peddler | 625 | 6,125 | Mixing Station; Packaging Station V2; Chili |
| Hustler | 825 | 10,050 | Downtown; Iodine, Addy, and Horse Semen |
| Bagman | 1,025 | 15,175 | Higher-quality production |
| Enforcer | 1,250 | 21,425 | The Docks |
| Shot Caller | 1,450 | 28,675 | No major unlock listed in the overview |
| Block Boss | 1,675 | 37,050 | Suburbia |
| Underlord | 1,875 | 46,425 | No major unlock listed in the overview |
| Baron | 2,075 | 56,800 | Uptown |
| Kingpin | 2,300 | 59,100 | “Everything,” described by the guide as an endgame prestige tier |
These are the Hunt Games guide’s reported figures, not an official developer-published XP table. In particular, a blank milestone in the source’s overview means it lists no major unlock for that rank; it does not establish that the rank has no tier rewards.
What the milestones add
Street Rat through Peddler
Street Rat is the starting band: the guide associates it with Northtown and early products and ingredients. Hoodlum adds Westville, employee hiring, and electric trimmers. At Peddler, the listed milestones include the Mixing Station, Packaging Station V2, and Chili.
Hustler through Enforcer
Hustler is associated with Downtown and the later ingredients Iodine, Addy, and Horse Semen. Bagman’s overview milestone is higher-quality production. Enforcer is the rank associated with access to the Docks.
Shot Caller through Kingpin
The guide lists no major unlock for Shot Caller or Underlord in its summary, but associates Suburbia with Block Boss and Uptown with Baron. It describes Kingpin as “Everything” and an endgame prestige tier; that characterization is the guide’s, not a statement from the game’s developer.

Districts can have a second unlock condition
Reaching a district’s associated rank may not be enough to enter it. The Hunt Games guide says district access also requires reducing that region’s cartel influence below 300, in the post-Rival Cartel context described on its page. If a district remains locked after you reach the rank milestone, check its cartel influence as well.

Prima Games’ April 7, 2025 tier list provides more granular examples: it places Jar at Street Rat III; Mixing Station and Westville at Hoodlum I; Green Crack Seed, Soil Pourer, and Viagra at Hoodlum II; and the Docks and Cauldron at Enforcer I.

That list has a visible labeling problem: its Underlord heading is followed by five rows labeled Block Boss I through Block Boss V. It also places Suburbia at Block Boss I, while the later Hunt Games overview associates Suburbia with Block Boss and Uptown with Baron. Because the sources differ in date and granularity, and the newer overview says it is partial, the available guides do not establish every current tier reward or exact late-game placement without error. Verify a specific tier reward in your game version rather than assuming the older table is current.
