Other reported search areas included the field east of Holly Hedges near Flopper Pond, a mountain southwest of Misty Meadows, and the area west of Stealthy Stronghold. These are roaming areas, not guaranteed spawn coordinates: Raptors could move, and no listed spot promises a Raptor in every match.
Reported Raptor search areas in Chapter 2 Season 6
Epic’s March 30, 2021 wildlife guide describes Raptors as animals newly hatched from eggs scattered around the island. Season 6 guides reported the following areas; search the broader terrain rather than expecting an animal at one exact point.
| Search area | What guides reported | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|
| Hills between Primal Pond and Weeping Woods | Pro Game Guides called this the area where Raptors were seen most frequently. | Best-supported place to begin; scan the hills and wooded surroundings. |
| East of Holly Hedges, near Flopper Pond | Pro Game Guides described a large field with a roaming pack. | Search the field rather than a precise point. |
| Small mountain southwest of Misty Meadows | Pro Game Guides estimated three to five Raptors there. | This is a historical guide estimate, not a verified or current spawn count. |
| West of Stealthy Stronghold | Pro Game Guides estimated one or two roaming packs in the area. | A broad reported area, not a precise coordinate or guarantee. |
| Near Boney Burbs | PC Gamer described this as a possible cluster area. | Lower-confidence lead; treat it as a possibility rather than a confirmed regular spawn. |
Pro Game Guides’ Season 6 location guide depicts broad search areas and cautions that Raptors wander, while PC Gamer’s guide adds the possible Boney Burbs area and reports of animals near Misty Meadows and Stealthy Stronghold. Neither establishes an exhaustive list, exact coordinates, or spawn probabilities.
How to search without mistaking a report for a guarantee
- Choose the search area nearest your landing spot; the reports describe broad terrain, not fixed spawn markers.
- Check the surrounding hills, woods, or field instead of stopping at a single landmark.
- If no Raptors appear, move on rather than repeatedly checking one exact location. The available guides do not establish that a particular area produces Raptors every match.
Wildlife Raptor versus the NPC named Raptor
Chapter 2 Season 6 also had a hostile NPC called Raptor. GameSpot placed that character at the Crash Site on the eastern cliffs beside Coral Castle. That is the NPC’s location, not a reported wildlife Raptor area. See GameSpot’s NPC location guide for the distinction.

Season 6 taming context
In Epic’s March 30, 2021 guide, wildlife Raptors roamed in pairs and attacked whatever crossed their path. Epic also described the Hunter’s Cloak as craftable with one Animal Bone and one Meat, and said it made normally hostile wildlife docile and tameable. This is guidance for that season, not a claim about current Battle Royale mechanics. Epic’s Chapter 2 Season 6 wildlife guide provides the period-specific details.

No. Epic’s current Creative documentation explains that a configurable Wildlife Spawner can spawn Raptors on Creative islands and that Raptors can be tamed and ridden there. Creative spawners do not establish Battle Royale locations for Chapter 2 Season 6. See Epic’s Wildlife Spawner documentation.
