Nemesis hunts Jill and other S.T.A.R.S. members. Carlos Oliveira, a member of Umbrella’s Biohazard Countermeasure Service, also becomes part of the story as the outbreak unfolds. The campaign sequences belong to Jill’s narrative; Resistance is a distinct 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer experience bundled with the game, not another chapter of her story.
How to judge whether a video includes all the cutscenes
The official pages establish the game’s premise and scope, but they do not enumerate every cinematic or verify a particular compilation. There is no reliable official cutscene count to use as a completeness check. Before treating a video as exhaustive, look for these details in its description or footage:

- Scope: It should say whether it covers the single-player campaign and whether it excludes Resistance.
- Beginning and ending: Check that it includes the opening, campaign ending, and closing scenes, not just major story moments.
- Story footage: Confirm how the video handles gameplay-linked sequences, quick-time events, and transitions. These may not be presented as separate cinematics.
Without checking the actual footage against a full sequence inventory, a title or description alone cannot establish that a compilation contains every scene.
What game is the remake based on?
Capcom announced Resident Evil 3 as a reimagining of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, originally released in 1999. The 2020 release date was April 3, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC listed in Capcom’s release announcement. Capcom later reported that worldwide shipments exceeded five million units as of February 2022; that sales milestone does not indicate a cutscene count or confirm any video’s completeness (Capcom, February 8, 2022).

Watching the scenes or playing the campaign
A compilation is a way to follow the story; playing lets you experience the campaign rather than only its filmed sequences. Physical PS4 and Xbox One editions existed, and Capcom’s 2020 Collector’s Edition included a physical game, soundtrack, Jill Valentine figure, art book, and Raccoon City map. Those are historical edition details, not evidence of current stock. Check a listing’s platform, condition, edition, and availability before buying. Capcom France documented the Collector’s Edition and physical formats.
