After you finish The Indigo Disk, earn a Pokémon’s treat from Snacksworth at Blueberry Academy, then travel to its landmark in Paldea to start the encounter. Ten solo Blueberry Quests (BBQs) or one Group Quest earns a treat; solo and group quests have different reward pools.
How to unlock Snacksworth’s Legendary encounters
Complete The Indigo Disk story, then find Snacksworth at the entrance to Blueberry Academy. The Pokémon Company’s official guide explains that each set of 10 solo quests or one Group Quest earns a treat named for a Legendary Pokémon. Speak with Snacksworth to receive treats and hear his clues; you can ask him to repeat a clue by speaking to him again.
Once you have a Pokémon’s treat, return to Paldea and approach the Pokémon at its location. There is no separate activation step. Landmark routes below are based on Serebii’s location guide, rather than official coordinates.
All 25 Pokémon, locations, and treat requirements
The version listed is the game in which the Pokémon is in the solo-reward pool. “Group in the other version” means that players of the opposite game can earn that treat through Group Quests. Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Kubfu are solo rewards in both versions; Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma require Group Quests in either version.

How Scarlet and Violet reward pools work
Your game version determines which Pokémon you can earn through solo BBQs. The opposite version’s solo pool is accessible through Group Quests, so owning or trading for the other version is not required to unlock every treat. Three Pokémon—Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma—are Group Quest rewards regardless of version. To collect the full set, plan to complete both solo and group quests.
Prepare for the encounter and recover from a failed catch
Legendary encounters can be difficult to catch. Pokémon recommends disabling autosave and saving manually before the battle, giving you a recovery point if the attempt goes badly.
If you accidentally knock out a Pokémon, it flees, but its treat remains in your Bag. After some time, that Pokémon can be encountered again at the same location; you do not need to earn another treat.
What you need to access Snacksworth
Snacksworth’s encounters are part of The Indigo Disk, included in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Check that you have the expansion for the game you play and have completed the The Indigo Disk story.
