Spoiler guide: The Totem of Perseverance is found in Galawain’s Tusks and requires a base plus six fragments. The pieces can be collected in any order; place them on the totem rock beside the fire at a Party Camp to assemble the totem.
Where to find all seven Totem of Perseverance pieces
Use the routes below to locate each component. Two fragments are near the Pargrun Cache and Lost Village, while Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking is tied to reaching Mt. Forja Summit during story progression.

| Antler of the Persevering Stag | Under the Bridge to the Garden, southeast Galawain’s Tusks | Before crossing the bridge, take the lower path beneath it and look along the ledge near a corpse. GameSpot and Prima Games cover the route. |
| Hunter’s Arrows of Slaying | Slumbering Fields | From the fast-travel beacon, follow the archways and climb the rocky path into the ruined structure. The arrows are in an open chest. See the walkthroughs from GameSpot and Prima Games. |
| Antler of the Pursued Stag | Cave north of the Pargrun Cache | Find the concealed cave entrance behind an illusionary rock wall. Bring Yatzli to dispel the illusion, then use fire or a grenade to clear the vines blocking the inner doorway. The antler rests on a table. GameSpot and Prima Games describe the obstacles. |
| Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving | Lost Village area | Approach via the Pargrun Cache and follow the rocky trail beside the lava toward the ruins or tower. The fragment is inside. Guides describe the final structure somewhat differently, so use the lava-side trail as the reliable route. See GameSpot, Prima Games, and Destructoid. |
| Wolf’s Pelt Trophy | Ash Forest Outpost | Climb the ledges and scaffolding beside or inside the outpost to reach the roof, where the trophy is located. The route is shown in GameSpot’s guide and Prima Games’ guide. |
| Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking | Southeast ledge of Mt. Forja Summit | Reach the summit through Mt. Forja Mines or the main-story route, then check the southeast ledge. This piece is story-gated; collect it during the quest sequence before leaving the summit. See GameSpot and Destructoid. |
Suggested collection order
The pieces do not require a fixed order. For a practical sweep, group the Antler of the Pursued Stag and Hunter’s Arrows of Surviving around the Pargrun Cache and Lost Village, then collect the Ash Forest Outpost and Slumbering Fields pieces when convenient. Leave Hunter’s Arrows of Seeking for the main-story visit to Mt. Forja Summit, and collect it before departing.
How to assemble the totem
- Collect The Huntmaster’s Spoils and all six named fragments.
- Travel to any Party Camp.
- Place the base and fragments on the totem rock beside the campfire.
What the Totem of Perseverance does
When assembled, the totem activates six passive effects. The figures below are reported by Destructoid’s 2025 guide and may be subject to change in a later game version.
