The current 1.1-era checklist reports 64 V Blood bosses in V Rising, including seven added with Invaders of Oakveil. Defeating a V Blood Carrier unlocks its listed reward, which may be a power, travel form, structure, or recipe. Use the boss’s level as a rough progression guide, then confirm its exact reward in the in-game V Blood menu: the complete 64-boss list below is a secondary-source reference, not an official roster.

How to use the V Blood boss list

Boss levels suggest a broad order for progression, but they are not a substitute for checking your own character’s readiness or the in-game V Blood interface. That menu shows the unlock associated with a target. The Blood Altar can help you select a boss and point you in a general direction; it does not necessarily provide a precise route or distance.

Some encounters do not stay at a single marked location. Several bosses roam, and the Putrid Rat is summoned from a Vermin Nest. Check the boss entry and its location details before setting out.

The table is based on a checklist that reports 64 entries for the 1.1-era roster and says it was checked against wiki and patch sources in June 2026. Its reward summaries are useful reference points, not a publisher-verified, authoritative list of every current unlock. Verify exact names and reward changes in-game.

The checklist below is organized approximately by boss level. “Unlock” summarizes the reward reported by the checklist; it should not be read as a guarantee that the entry captures every effect or recipe associated with that boss.

What defeating a V Blood boss unlocks

V Blood rewards are progression unlocks, not a single type of loot. They include vampiric powers and abilities as well as travel forms, structures, and crafting recipes. Level Infinite’s 2022 publisher overview described the rewards as “unique magical abilities, vampiric powers, structures, and recipes”; its article’s “35+” count is historical, not a current roster total. The unlock depends on the boss, and absorbing its V Blood grants the listed progression reward. Unlocking an ability does not mean it is automatically equipped: choose which available abilities to use separately.

Why older boss lists disagree

Roster counts reflect different versions of the game. A GamesRadar guide presents 37 bosses, while the June 2026 GamesOMG checklist reports 64 for the 1.1-era roster and marks seven Oakveil additions. These figures describe different snapshots; do not combine an older guide’s reward entries with a newer checklist as if they were one verified table. Level Infinite’s 2022 “35+” wording is likewise a historical description.

No official source with a complete current 64-boss reward table is established here. The in-game V Blood menu is the safer authority for the exact unlocks in your version.
