Spoilers: This guide names Upgrade Disk locations and puzzle gates. GameSpot’s April 15, 2025 guide lists disks in ten draftable manor rooms, plus several outer, underground, and special locations. The author describes these as disks found so far, not a guaranteed exhaustive total.
Upgrade Disk locations in draftable manor rooms
These disks are found by drafting the named rooms and completing their room-specific requirements. Some appearances or contents may be conditional.

- Commissary: A disk is sometimes sold there.
- Office: Check a drawer.
- Garage: Find the Car Keys, then open the car trunk.
- Foundation: Activate the elevator and check the cardboard box where it stops.
- Great Hall: Search one of its locked rooms.
- Morning Room: Look on a shelf beside the condiments.
- Her Ladyship’s Chamber: When drafting along the far-left side of the manor (column 1) while opening a path south, this room can appear among the options. Check the dresser beside the diary.
- Vault: Collect Vault Keys and open the deposit boxes; one contains a disk.
- Archives: Use a File Cabinet Key to open the relevant drawer.
- Freezer: Draft it near a powered Furnace or Sauna. The warmth melts the ice wall at the back, revealing the disk.
Outer rooms, underground, and special floorplans
- Tomb: Light the candelabras with gems to reveal a hidden nook. Check the other side of the chamber too; the guide points to a second pair of candelabras there.
- Trading Post, hidden section: Light the dynamite to reveal a section containing a disk and a distillery.
- Trading Post, rare-item trade: A disk can sometimes appear as a trade option when exchanging rare items. This is a separate opportunity from the disk hidden in the dynamite-revealed section.
- Roundtable Altar (Underground): Reach the altar by draining the Fountain or opening the route through the Tomb, then light the surrounding candelabras.
- Lost and Found: A disk may appear there. Entering the room costs two other items.
- Mechanarium: One of the extra rooms contains a disk.
What an Upgrade Disk does—and where its upgrade applies
Take a disk to a computer terminal in a room such as Security, Laboratory, Office, or Shelter to choose from the offered room effects. The room where you collect the disk does not necessarily receive the upgrade: the disk’s pickup location and the floorplan affected by your selection are distinct.
GameSpot’s examples of possible effects include Courtyard resources or unlocked doors; Nook keys, breakfast steps, or a Library draw; Mail Room delivery behavior; and Storeroom resource combinations. These are examples, not a complete catalog of every upgrade effect.

How complete is this location list?
GameSpot’s guide says there are “over a dozen” Upgrade Disks, but also qualifies its inventory as those its authors had “found so far.” Treat the locations above as that guide’s reported inventory, not proof that every disk has been found. If you are aiming for a complete collection, compare with an up-to-date in-game or community checklist rather than relying on a fixed total.
