Vortex: Decay’s Realm ran in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III from March 27 to April 3, 2024. Its six historical rewards were the “Apocalyptic” Calling Card, “Valve Replacement” Emblem, “The Swarm” Weapon Charm, “Grave Worm” Weapon Sticker, a 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token, and the “Wriggler” Weapon Camo. The event has ended, so these rewards are not currently earnable through it.

Activision’s Season 2 Reloaded announcement listed these rewards for the limited-time event:
- “Apocalyptic” Calling Card
- “Valve Replacement” Emblem
- “The Swarm” Weapon Charm
- “Grave Worm” Weapon Sticker
- 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
- “Wriggler” Weapon Camo
How the event rewards were unlocked
Activision’s event summary instructed players to “Complete challenges across all games to unlock rotted rewards.” The announcement gives that general unlock approach but does not specify individual challenge requirements for each item.
Vortex: Decay’s Realm was a limited-time event and playlist in the Season 2 Reloaded update. Its run ended on April 3, 2024; the listed items should be treated as past event rewards, not as a current unlock path.

Maps and modes in the Vortex playlist
The playlist featured five map variants: Airborne, Skidgrow, Tetanus, Sporeyard, and Satan’s Quarry. Its modes were:
- Team Deathmatch
- Domination
- Kill Confirmed
- Hardpoint
These playlist details are from Activision’s Season 2 Reloaded announcement. The event’s rewards are separate from the Warhammer 40,000 event rewards listed elsewhere in the same announcement.
