Zelda-series amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can drop materials, weapons and, for compatible figures, a themed paraglider fabric. Each figure has its own reward pool, but drops are randomized: you may need to scan more than once to get a particular fabric or chest reward. This guide lists the known rewards by figure and explains how to scan.
How amiibo scanning works in Tears of the Kingdom
Nintendo says to enable amiibo in Options, then use the amiibo ability from the ability wheel. The ability typically becomes available around 45 minutes into the game. Hold L, select the amiibo ability, and follow the on-screen prompt to scan a compatible figure. Nintendo’s amiibo instructions for Tears of the Kingdom say each compatible figure can be scanned once per day per Nintendo Account. A unique reward may take multiple scans; the daily limit means it can take multiple days.
Scanning can award ordinary materials or weapons as well as a themed paraglider fabric. A fabric or chest item is not guaranteed on every scan. In the Switch 2 Edition, the Nintendo Switch App can track five scans of the same compatible amiibo and award a bonus use that day, according to Nintendo Support.
Current Tears of the Kingdom amiibo rewards
The figures released for Tears of the Kingdom have their own fabric rewards alongside randomized item drops. The item examples below are summarized from Nintendo Life’s figure guide; they are examples of possible drops, not guaranteed results.

Mineru’s Construct released September 17, 2026. Nintendo confirms the figure’s Tears of the Kingdom compatibility and that it can provide random items and a special paraglider fabric; the specific Sage of Spirit Fabric and named drops come from a community-maintained table, not Nintendo’s product listing.
Mineru’s Construct drop table: what the percentages mean
Zelda Wiki’s 2026 community-compiled table lists common chest outcomes as Construct Bow 40%, Strong Construct Bow 40% and Zonaite Bow 20%. The Strong Construct Bow requires completing Great Sky Island, and the Zonaite Bow requires visiting the Depths. The table lists Sage of Spirit Fabric as 100% of the rare-fabric outcome. These percentages describe outcomes within the relevant chest or rare-fabric table; they do not mean every scan produces a chest or fabric.

Older Zelda amiibo rewards and fabrics
Older Zelda-series figures can also provide themed fabrics and randomized materials, food, weapons or armor. The following is a fabric lookup, with broad reward categories rather than a promise of a particular item. Nintendo Life and Nintendo Everything provide the figure reward summaries; detailed drop tables and conditions are community-maintained.
| Amiibo | Associated fabric | Reward notes |
|---|---|---|
| Link (Ocarina of Time) | Lon Lon Ranch Fabric | Can yield the Time outfit. |
| 8-bit Link | Pixel Fabric | Can yield the Hero outfit and Sword. |
| Wind Waker Link | King of Red Lions Fabric | Can yield the Wind outfit. |
| Link (Skyward Sword) | Sword-Spirit Fabric | Can yield the Sky outfit, White Sword of the Sky and Sword. |
| Champions (Daruk, Mipha, Revali and Urbosa) | Each has a corresponding Champion fabric. | The reward pools include their respective Divine Helms. |
| Guardian | Ancient-Sheikah Fabric | Can produce iron boxes and has a chance at an Ancient Blade. |
| Wolf Link | Mirror of Twilight Fabric | Provides meat rather than summoning a helper in Tears of the Kingdom. |
| Other Zelda-series figures | Varies by figure. | Includes Breath of the Wild Link figures, Zelda, Bokoblin, Twilight Princess Link, Skyward Sword Zelda & Loftwing, Majora’s Mask Link, Toon Link, Sheik and Link’s Awakening Link; consult the figure-specific table for the associated fabric and drop pool. |
For exact drop chances or progression conditions on older figures, consult the community-maintained Zelda Wiki amiibo drop tables. Nintendo does not publish named drop percentages in its amiibo instructions.

Are amiibo armor and weapons exclusive?
Nintendo Life and Nintendo Everything describe most amiibo-associated clothing and weapons as obtainable through gameplay as well. The fabrics are the clearest amiibo-exclusive collection rewards in those guides. If you want a specific armor set or weapon, scanning is optional; amiibo offers another randomized route, not the only route.
