To clear Amagasaki Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, defeat five Samurai Daisho, then enter the main northeastern castle building through its rooftop hatch to reach the Legendary Chest. The Sake Flask is reported one floor below the chest. The Daisho patrol, so use the areas below as a search route rather than fixed coordinates.
Where to find Amagasaki Castle
Amagasaki Castle is in the Izumi Settsu area, across the river north of the initial Hideout, east of Nishinomiya, and southwest of Senri Hills, according to Destructoid’s castle guide. Tree climbs on the eastern or western side can provide a way over the wall.
The Daisho become available after assassinating Wada Koretake, an objective tied to “Heads Will Roll,” according to Gamerpillar’s guide.
How to locate the five Samurai Daisho
Use Eagle Vision and Observe to identify and mark the warrior-mask Daisho icons. Their patrols can shift, so sweep these broad areas rather than relying on a precise point on the map.

- Eastern outer courtyard: Search the open area on the east side of the castle grounds.
- Southeast inner wall: Check along the inner wall in the southeast.
- Northwest inner wall: Look for two Daisho together near this wall.
- West of the inner wall: Find the fifth Daisho patrolling just outside the wall on its western side.
These zones account for all five Daisho in Gamerpillar’s description; Destructoid also cautions that enemies are spread around the grounds and can move. Destructoid recommends separating a Daisho from nearby guards, since an assassination attempt may not defeat one outright.
How to reach the Legendary Chest
- Defeat all five Samurai Daisho.
- Go to the main castle building on the northeastern side of the grounds.
- Reach the rooftop and open or drop through the hatch or floorboard. The chest room is on the top floor below the fast-travel point.
That route is described by both Gamerpillar and Destructoid. Destructoid lists the chest rewards as a Level 11 Tools Master Mask and an Unbreakable Shuriken Engraving; rewards may differ after game updates.

The available Neoseeker location guide excerpt places the Sake Flask one floor below the Legendary Chest, in a corner with an enemy nearby. Search that lower floor; the excerpt does not establish a compass direction, exact route, or the enemy’s identity.
