To get Amazon Prime gaming benefits, go to Amazon Luna’s claims page, choose an offer, and follow the instructions shown for that item. The familiar “Prime Gaming” name still appears in searches, but Amazon now presents these benefits through Luna. Depending on your country and the offer, you may be able to redeem downloadable PC games, play a changing cloud-game library, join local GameNight sessions, and claim a monthly Twitch channel subscription.
What Amazon Prime gaming benefits include
Amazon describes Prime gaming as a mix of claimable games and other member perks, with availability varying by country. In supported cloud regions, Prime members get access to an evolving library of more than 50 cloud games, according to Amazon’s Luna FAQ. Amazon also describes GameNight, a local multiplayer collection of more than 25 games. Separately, a rotating collection of downloadable PC games is offered in Prime markets.
These are different kinds of benefits: a downloadable game offer is redeemed according to its own terms, while access to the cloud catalog is access to a library that can change. Amazon says content periodically leaves the cloud catalog, so do not treat cloud access as permanent ownership.
| Benefit | What you get | How access works |
|---|---|---|
| Downloadable PC games | Rotating game offers for eligible Prime members | Claim an offer and follow its individual redemption instructions; a store, launcher, or linked account may be required. |
| Cloud gaming | Access to an evolving library of more than 50 games, according to Amazon’s Luna FAQ | Stream supported games on an eligible device in a supported country; catalog access is not permanent ownership. |
| GameNight | A local multiplayer collection of more than 25 games, according to Amazon’s Luna FAQ | Play on a supported TV; other people in the same location can join using phones as controllers. |
| Twitch channel subscription | A monthly subscription benefit for a Twitch channel, where available | Claim it through Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page; channel benefits vary. |
Amazon’s current overview of Prime Gaming benefits is in its Prime Gaming help page, and its Luna FAQ explains the cloud library, GameNight, and Twitch subscription.

How to claim a game or other offer
- Open luna.amazon.com/claims and sign in with the Amazon account that has the eligible membership.
- Choose the game or perk you want. Check the offer details, including any country restrictions and redemption deadline shown there.
- Follow that offer’s instructions. Depending on the item, you may receive a code, be asked to link a publisher or launcher account, or need to install a launcher.
- Complete redemption on the specified service, if the offer sends you elsewhere. Keep the confirmation and note which account received the game.
Amazon’s current claim help says to choose an offer and follow its instructions; steps differ by item and offers may vary by country. Older Amazon guidance describes past delivery through services such as GOG, Epic Games Store, Legacy Games, and the Amazon Games app, but that list is not a guarantee of the current redemption route for any particular offer. Check the claim page rather than assuming every game uses the same store.

That distinction matters: being able to claim downloadable games does not mean cloud gaming is available there. Amazon also says full cloud access requires a Prime membership from the country where the customer resides. Prime Video help describes Luna Standard benefits for Prime Video members in countries outside the markets where a Prime membership is required for those benefits. Account and country rules can differ, so check Amazon’s current Luna country eligibility page and Prime Video Luna benefits help for your location.
How to get the Twitch subscription and other Twitch perks
Amazon says the monthly Twitch channel subscription formerly associated with Prime Gaming remains available to Prime members. To claim it, visit Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page and select the available subscription benefit for that month. A subscribed channel may provide chat privileges, emoticons, or badges where those features are available; the benefit is not a universal subscription to every channel, and regional availability can vary.

What devices and controllers you need
Cloud gaming and GameNight are not the same as downloading a PC game. Amazon lists Fire TV and Fire Tablet, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, iOS and Android devices, PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks among supported device types for Luna. Check current compatibility for your specific device and country before setting up.
For cloud gaming
You can use a supported Bluetooth controller or an optional Luna Controller. The Luna Controller is not required, and the compatible-controller options depend on the device and service support. Amazon’s Luna FAQ has its device and controller guidance.

For GameNight
GameNight is designed for people playing together locally. Phones can join by scanning a QR code displayed on the TV and act as touch controllers, so a dedicated gamepad is not necessary for that use. Amazon says other local players can participate without their own Prime membership; online remote multiplayer is not currently supported.
For downloadable PC games
Use the claim page’s instructions to determine whether the game needs a launcher, a code, or a linked account. Amazon’s older how-to guide gives examples of account-linking and installation steps, but the current offer page is the relevant source for each game.

Can you keep games after claiming them?
There is no single retention rule established for every Prime gaming offer. A downloadable game’s redemption terms depend on the offer and platform where it is redeemed, so check those terms before claiming. Cloud games work differently: they are available through a changing catalog, and Amazon says titles can leave it. A claim or cloud-library listing should not be treated as a promise that every game remains accessible forever.
Quick Recap
What to check when an offer does not appear
- Country: Offers and features vary by location, and cloud gaming has a narrower country list than downloadable game claims.
- Membership account: Confirm you are signed in to the Amazon account with the eligible membership; country-specific membership rules may apply.
- Offer instructions: Look for a code, launcher installation, or account-linking step that must be completed outside the claims page.
- Platform: Confirm the game’s store or launcher account is the one you intend to use before redeeming a code or linking accounts.
