Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026 sale is called Prime Big Deal Days, not the June Prime Day event. An October 6 deal report listed a Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Play Booster box for $170.61 and a Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster box for $147.95. Star Trek is still scheduled to release on November 13; Marvel Super Heroes has been out since June 26. These are reported sale prices, not guaranteed live offers, so check Amazon’s current listing before buying.
What Amazon’s October sale is—and how long it runs
Amazon’s official event name is Prime Big Deal Days. Amazon says the 2026 event runs October 6–7 for 48 hours, with Prime-member-exclusive deals across more than 35 categories. The retailer notes that offers may appear during the event and limited-time deals are available only while supplies last.
Reported MTG booster-box prices
An October 6 report by IGN, republished by Mudauchi Games, listed the following offers. The prices and discounts below reflect that dated report; they do not confirm what Amazon is charging now.
| Product | Reported price | Reported discount | Release status on October 7, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Star Trek Play Booster box | $170.61 | 19% off, according to the report | Upcoming; global tabletop release scheduled for November 13, 2026 |
| Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster box | $147.95, down from $209.70 | 28% off, according to the report | Released June 26, 2026 |
The October 6 deal report also mentioned a Draft Night offer, but did not provide a reliable price for it. The report is secondary coverage attributed to IGN, rather than confirmation from Amazon. Check the Amazon listing for the current price, seller, stock, shipping, and any Prime eligibility before ordering.

Star Trek: a preorder for a November set
Wizards of the Coast lists the global tabletop release of Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek for November 13, 2026. Prerelease events are scheduled for November 6–12, and the set is scheduled to arrive on MTG Arena on November 10. Wizards says the set was available to preorder through retailers including Amazon.
The reported deal is for a Play Booster box. Wizards says each box contains 30 Play Boosters and lists the individual Play Booster MSRP as $6.99. That per-booster MSRP is not a box MSRP, so it should not be treated as an official box price or used to claim a specific saving on the reported offer.

Star Trek products listed by Wizards also include Collector Booster boxes, four Commander decks, Collector’s Edition Commander decks, a Bundle, a Beam Me Up Bundle, Draft Night, Scene Boxes, and prerelease packs. The Play Booster box is the relevant product if you want a supply of the set’s standard boosters; it is not the same format as a ready-to-host group draft or a collector-focused product.
Marvel Super Heroes: released, not an upcoming set
Wizards lists June 26, 2026, as the Marvel Super Heroes release date. The October report therefore describes a discount on an already-released set, not a preorder for an upcoming release. Wizards lists Amazon among the retailers carrying the set’s products.

- CONTENTS—30 Play Boosters
A Play Booster box is one option, but the official buyer’s guide identifies products for different ways to play and collect:
- Beginner Box: designed to help new players learn.
- Jumpstart Boosters: themed packs that can be combined for a quick game.
- Play Boosters and Bundles: ways to open or sample the set.
- Draft Night: a group-draft product; Wizards describes it as including boosters, lands, and tokens.
- Commander decks: for multiplayer Commander play.
- Collector Boosters: aimed at collectors and special treatments.
Wizards lists Marvel Super Heroes Draft Night at $119.99 MSRP and the Bundle at $69.99 MSRP. Those are official suggested retail prices, not the October report’s live-sale prices; compare the current total for the specific product you want rather than treating MSRP, a list price, and a temporary deal price as interchangeable.

- Choose Marvel Super Heroes Play Boosters if you want packs from the set that released in June and the current listing offers a price you consider worthwhile.
- Look at Draft Night if your goal is to draft with a group rather than simply own a box of boosters; the products have different contents and uses.
- Look at Collector Boosters if collecting and special treatments matter more than the standard Play Booster experience.
For either reported deal, verify the exact product and live checkout total on Amazon. Sale price, seller, availability, shipping, and eligibility can change, and the dated report does not establish a current best price.
