HotHardware said its specifications came from an AMD product listing and reported that AMD’s release was limited to select system integrators. That makes prebuilt gaming PCs a possible route to finding it, but the report does not establish current stock, a price, or whether the card is sold separately.
What are the reported AMD Radeon RX 9060 specs?
HotHardware’s August 5, 2025 report attributed the following specifications to an AMD product listing for the non-XT Radeon RX 9060. AMD’s official document reviewed for the separate RX 9060 XT does not independently confirm these RX 9060 details.
| Specification | RX 9060, as reported by HotHardware |
|---|---|
| Architecture | RDNA 4 |
| Compute units | 28 |
| Stream processors | 1,792 |
| Ray accelerators | 28 |
| AI accelerators | 56 |
| ROPs | 64 |
| Texture mapping units | 112 |
| Memory | 8GB GDDR6 at 18Gbps |
| Memory bus | 128-bit |
| Memory bandwidth | Up to 288GB/s |
| Infinity Cache | 32MB |
| GPU clock information | Not stated in the AMD listing HotHardware consulted |
These are reported product specifications, not results from independent testing. The report does not provide an RX 9060 benchmark, so it cannot establish game frame rates or how the card compares in performance with other GPUs.
How the RX 9060 differs from the RX 9060 XT
The Radeon RX 9060 and RX 9060 XT are separate models. AMD’s official June 2025 RX 9060 XT document lists 32 compute units for both XT memory variants, compared with the 28 compute units HotHardware reported for the non-XT RX 9060. Do not treat XT specifications or test results as RX 9060 data.

| Radeon RX 9060 | 28 | 8GB GDDR6; 128-bit bus; up to 288GB/s bandwidth; 32MB Infinity Cache | Reported by HotHardware from an AMD listing, August 5, 2025 |
| Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB | 32 | Boost clock up to 3.13GHz; reference total board power 150W | AMD’s June 2025 document; partner board specifications may differ |

AMD’s published performance comparisons are lab results for the XT models, tested on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D system with 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory and Windows 11 Pro, using game builds current around May 2025. Those vendor tests concern the XT, not the RX 9060, and do not independently establish how the non-XT card performs. AMD also notes that system manufacturers may use different configurations.

HotHardware described the launch as a “stealth launch” because it had not seen a public AMD press release or blog post when its article appeared. The report relayed another outlet’s claim that AMD’s press release limited distribution to “select system integrators” and noted listings from ASUS and XFX. This is evidence of reported launch channels in August 2025, not confirmation that the RX 9060 is currently available only through those channels.

A gaming PC from a system integrator may be one way to find a system built with the RX 9060. Before buying, confirm that the listing names the exact non-XT “Radeon RX 9060,” rather than the RX 9060 XT, and ask whether the GPU is included in a specific prebuilt configuration. The reviewed information does not establish a current price, inventory, or standalone retail availability.

What to verify before choosing a PC with this GPU
- Exact model: Check that the specification says RX 9060, not RX 9060 XT; the XT has different documented specifications.
- Memory: The reported non-XT configuration has 8GB of GDDR6. Compare that capacity with the games and settings you intend to use, and check the complete system listing rather than relying on a headline.
- System details: For a prebuilt, review the full configuration and the seller’s terms. A GPU name alone does not describe the rest of the PC.
- Availability: Confirm current stock and whether the card is included in the exact PC configuration. The 2025 launch report is not a live inventory check.
